The Hero
Integra White was born to a noble family in Sevallon. As her father, she proved to be an exceptional archer and started training as a Sevallon Ranger at very young age. Integra is very confident about her skills, even to a point of arrogance. Still Integra is kind hearted and believes in the goodness of the soul. She has never ventured outside of Sevallon but has read a lot of the outside world, and is very intrested in travelling around Eeria someday. For some reason she and her best friend Althoran both choose to grow as the same pace as humans and now Integra resembles a human of the age of about 18. Now Integra's training is almost complete and she is soon going to recieve her Ranger Honors. What could go wrong...?

The World
A great war between the two empires (Capitol and Empire the of Amordusk) has ended over 100 years ago, and there has been peace in the land. Still the seeds of hatred have stayed in peoples hearts, and it would take only a little conflict to push the empires in to another war. World and characters based on the tabletop roleplaying game D100 Eeria, a game which has been in developement for almost 10 years. No prior knowledge of the world is required, as you learn about the world of Eeria with Integra who has never left her home village earlier.

Features
-Over 10 playable characters, each one having their own unique personalities, fighting styles, personal story and quest lines.
-Story varies a bit depending which characters you choose to keep in your party.
-Numerous towns/dungeons accessable via worldmap.
-Lots of sidequests featuring puzzles, horror elements and hidden boss fights.
-Gameplay time may vary from 5h to 25h depending how many sidequests you find/choose to complete. Although I don't think anyone can beat the game in under 10h on the first run.
-A journal that tracks the progression of quests. There are lots of them.
-Uses the RMXP defaulft turn-based battle system.
-Includes some custom-made resources including: characters, pictures, music tracks and sound effects.
-Cutscene pictures in major turn points of the story.

Many themes in the game are adult-like and direct, so the game is not recommended for children.

Hi Nikechu!
I'm very happy to hear that you're enjoying the game. Please do write the review if you have the time when you've finished the game! I'd say you're getting near the halfway point of the game now. ;)

You're correct those fanged bastards hate fire and holy attacks. :) There's a hidden restoration shrine on the outside part of the dungeon. That's just in case someone didn't stock up on curatives.
Your team and levels are fine for that part. There's also an optional vampire boss there that you can try to beat later (she is usually too powerful at this point). You might encounter even more party members later. The bard Lyrion is imo one of the best supports in the game, I might've gone a bit overboard with his ultimate ability :p . You can beat the game with any party composition, so just pick the characters you like playing with. (Maybe 3 healers is a bit of an overkill, but I've tested it and even tht party can be made to work :D)
Welys and Saralyn are kind of tanks with their large health pools and armors, but tanking doesn't really work like in many other games because they cannot taunt any attacks. On the other hand they can take more punishment before going down, and those extra HPs will come in handy when the game kicks in to endgame. :)

Yes, the sequel will be focusing on Matik. (So it will feel more like a sequel if you played with him in the party, but it's not necessary.) It will have a dark tone, as it seems that's the only tone I can write. :) It will have a lot more choices to be made during quests as Matik is kind of a grey-area-guy. All the important characters will make some sort of appearance. And yeah, it's going to be challenging. :)
Hello!
Thank you for this wonderful game, i really enjoyed playing!
Maybe i missed a quest or opportunity here and there.. was reading later in this forum about them.
I was really really sad about the ending, I really can't take sad endings like the one with integra and matik.. oh my, poor integra, poor matik.. :-( I would really wish, they would find each other in the sequel, i would never choose other girls for matik or other guys for integra if there would be opportunities, it's sad that it got this way, i played and looked forward for the nice ending that would await the both and then this. :'(

But I really like the story behind the game, which has many facettes, like the dragon and the tower. Maybe the characters had not much "deepness",
so there was potential for "Hell"
, and the battle encounters were kind of annoying sometimes - regarding the loot you got. It got monotonous very soon later in the game, but battles were maybe the second focus in the game, the boss battles were great! I was reading something about a wedding ring in this forum, how do I get this and who will give this to whom? :-D That part i couldn't solve.
Is there really no chance for integra and matik later? :-((( I loved them together.. :-(

Thank you very much for this wonderful game, may all your other projects be successful and may everything went out the way you want!
<3
Hi StarlitStorm!
Thanks for playing and good to hear that you enjoyed the game!
-Yeah, the game has many minor quests that can be easily missed. But don't worry, most of them they aren't that important considering the story arc. Just bonus stuff to do. :)
-All other characters have multiple endings depending how you solve their personal quests. Integra and Matik... yeah, there's only one ending for them.
-The random encounters were for those players who didn't care that much for the plot but wanted to challenged. That's why they were hard until you just could escape everything and go grind when you wanted exp or gold. The boss fights were a blast to plan. My main passion was still the story.
-The wedding ring is associated with a small key that can be missed during the story (a one time encounter when resting in Castle Draxil), the "ultimate challenge" and a hidden character. (There is a possible wedding during the end credits, but it's not connected to the item. Just an alternate ending with two partymembers.) :)

Sub and join the wait for the sequel. It'll be done eventually :p
Loving the game so far, will write a review after I'm finished.I'm still quite early in the main story(Beginning of Chapter 3)because I love walking around, talking to people and doing sidequests but I'm having a slight problem.Whenever I try to cast Lyrion's Riff of Speed(I think I got the name right) the game crashes with the error "Unable to find file Audio/SE/prammmmm. Which is weird since the file exists in that folder.I'm assuming for some reason the game can't read the character above the "a" in "prammmmm" .I'd be happy if someone could suggest a fix because Lyrion is pretty mediocre without that buff..

A weird problem indeed as no one else has encountered it. I made a custom build of the game where the sound effect is replaced with file of a different name. I cannot promise that it will help, but give it a shot. Just install the new build of the game and copy your saves in the game folder. Good hear you're enjoying the game and let's hope this works.

A link to the alternate build of the game installer.

The spell is working fine now! Thanks a lot :)
I saw that you are working on a sequel.I really hope it will be released some day!(I like playing games that I know will be continued after I finish them)

Can anyone please reupload the alternate build please orz.

Weird. That audio file should be in it's place in the downloadable version of the game. Try downloading the game again and copy your save files.
Hi, I'm currently playing this game and just have to beat the final vampire boss.
I had 3 questions..
1] How do u get past the cloaked figure in the basement of the Moonnest castle??
2] Where exactly in the Maneton mine do u find an amethyst?? (found all the other gemstones except this)
3] What is the purpose of the stone/petrified ppl in the lost temple swamps? Is there any way to make them normal??

These are the only 3 things that are bugging me (apart from "The Ultimate Challenge" which I skipped for the time being (I really want to know who the secret character is though))
After reading the other posts, i guess its a male character :P
(Oooo maybe it's that Cthulu in Lyrion's bed)

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the help and this is a really great game! :)
(I can only imagine how long it took u to create such a detailed game like this :) )

Edit: Jeez I'm such an idiot. I actually defeated the "Ultimate Challenge" only to find that I don't even have the key to open the chest!! I would advise ppl who want to fully complete the quest & unlock the secret character to first check if they have the key n then proceed to finish the quest or u can just beat it for the XP, gold and the items.
Is there any other way to get the key or is it really unobtainable if u dont get it the first time?? Thanks anyway... :/

Hi!
Great to hear that you've enjoyed the game! To your guestions...
1) Talk to the Queen with Saralyn in party. This will start one of her personal quests in the catacombs.
2) The amethyst is at the lower left part of the screen, in the second map of the mine. You can exchange it for a Unique Ring of Protection at the jeweler.
3) The petrified people are the just for aesthetics. To warn you of the monster lurking there. ;)

You're a serious gamer if you beat the Ultimate Challenge. Well done!

Sadly if you didn't kill the Nightmare while sleeping in Castle Draxil, (It's meant to be nearly impossible at that level, unless you are really stocked with Angel Tears) you cannot unlock the secret character. If you want I can reveal him/her/it to you with a private message. :)

Good luck with the final boss. (Though I think she'll hardly put up a fight if you've already beaten the Ultimate Challenge.) :D
sometimes i dont know which path to take for story and try both but some problems:

demoness and mage in tower, why cant kill both? i kill her but she remains (can fight her endless times, but mage acts like she is dead and says we are done!). he summoned her and is evil, so i'd think should be able to decide to end him after ending her. but what if i accept her offer, kill him, then go to kill her, that way getting to explore another map (plus its xp) which i would not get to do if kill her?

also, sometimes, like vs lich in mage academy, all characters were fine, yet it acted like she almost died. ok, it was for the story i know but still? and when 1st fought vampire woman at beginning of story, if i recall i beat her and it acted like i didnt?

only 4 save slots when not sure where to go or what order to do is somewhat problem. is there a guide for certain things so dont miss some maps or mess up and lock something out or make some mess of things, you know? (like above you said not killing nightmare would lock out a character).

so, i figured, i'd double cross both the mage and demoness, and invade her portal, but its doing something strange as i said. also, if kill mage, his reward item should be on him and obtained? i'm not sure how bad i will mess things up if dont side with mage and kill her.

thanks.

Hi!
Joining with either the mage or the demon should exclude the other. I know it would be cool to betray both, but because time constraints I only gave two choices for that side quest. You should still always gain entrance to Hell either way. Unfortunately it seems your game has glitched if you joined with the mage, and killed the demon and she still hasn't disappeared. If you send me your save file I can try to fix it, but I cannot promise anything. I'm very sorry. :(

The fight before the dream sequence? Yeah, it's for the story. Most players end that battle with Integra dead or at least severely wounded. That's supposed to explain why she falls in to a coma.
The vampire woman (Victoria) was banished by your childhood friend in the beginning but she is still haunting you in your dreams. Her henchman (Rufus) seems to avoid being truly killed in every encounter.

The super secret character is just that. An easter egg for those who do several playthroughs at the game. He/she/it doesn't bring anything new to the story and doesn't have any quests. I know it's annoying not the be able 100% the game if you missed it during the first run. But I decided to add the character right before releasing the game as a bonus. Try not to worry about it and enjoy the rest of the story.

The 4 save slots are default coded to the engine. I wasn't that good at skripting when I made the game, so I kinda tried to get the best out of RPG Maker at the time. You can store your save files to a different folder and gain more save slots that way.

Thanks for the feedback and I hope you keep playing!
oh yeah i could do that with saves duh thx.

i did try a further save back and it still didnt kill her so not sure its my game vs a coded problem? like the code keeps her there.

but, if i get to fight her later in hell then i'll take the opportunity to kill the mage then go in and hunt her down, though i need to get stronger to survive past a few chance encounters in there. i would think I can fight her in there? she doesnt just disappear from game right? i wouldnt expect that. will i get her item when kill her (where else would it be?) um because it seems i might need str item to help break the cracks.

To get her item you have to side with her. The accessory just increases Str, it's not an essential item. Both rewards from the side quest are strong, unique but exclude getting the other.

You'll later get an companion that can break through weakened walls, no items needed.

If your game doesn't seem to allow you to kill her I recommend just joining with her. Sucks I know, but at least you'll get to continue your adventure. And yeah, the demon disappears from the game after that quest. You'll have to wait until I finish the sequel to face her again. :)

The Hell area you unlock after that quest is extremely tough. It has some of the hardest encounters int the game. I recommend not exploring it too far until the last chapter (lvl 20-25+). The first chest is possible to get with luck. ;)
ok thx. actually, integra was lvl 17 and others 15,15,14 and after a few hours play total in the hell, she is 21 and they are 19 and im at the giant door. i can kill all except the avatar and the boss in there. well, i went in and out to get lvls and heal in the pool so cheated a bit but i got to the door. havent even done the mine town yet lol (edit, ok i left and did it since i couldnt get the avatar to show up again and got bored).

EDIT:
"a transparent character means it is in your party". no, the bard or whatever from the cell across from the demoness is in the inn, but i cannot get him into the party by making him transparent. nor can i remove the ppl already in the party. i can only change their order.
Yeah, the avatar is a rare random encounter that drops a Kylmico when defeated. The Hell is meant for endgame grinding if needed. And the pool is there just for that. :) The boss in there is one of the most challenging fights in the game.

If you're still in the first chapter you've really grinded some levels. Rest of the game should be pretty easy. But I don't recommend grinding too much at the beginning as new party members have set levels when they join, and they may seem under powered. Not a problem of course if your current party is the one you wish to run to the end of the game.

The party switcher mechanic needs getting used to. If you click a character that is already in your party, it removes him/her. Clicking again adds the character, but you must have room for the character or nothing happens. You can have a party of 4 characters.
ok i eventually think i found out i have to ignore what the sign said about transparent. seems have to click the ones already in to remove them, then can add, but transparent or not means nothing. to avoid getting too much xp too soon, the hell probably would have been better to be like "this place is too scary, no way am i going in there now!" so yeah. i got to getting the necro book now. but it seems you made it so when new characters get added i have to travel back through all the places i went to for pianos, teddy bears... thats a bit annoying not sure if its worth it.

Edit: found the Guide that lists where some stuff is, that's helpful.
Edit: really thought odin quest had bug till happened to see the bow needed in the guide. guess only that character can do it. yeah, if she said in game a hint on what bow to get would have avoided was gonna bug report.

Edit: also, some of the "heroes" are complete murderer villains that the main character strangely doesnt seem to mind. it doesnt match well with her, and since being a total murderer/villain is on the side to be eliminated (evil), it just seems off to party with them like its all good.

Edit: Ryulin is my favorite, hope she is in sequel. i put up with malik grudgingly... well i prefer female characters anyway.
How can I get all the characters? I only got 8 so far
Also, where can I steal the Acorn of the Forest?

How can I get all the characters? I only got 8 so far
Also, where can I steal the Acorn of the Forest?

-You'll get all characters during the main story line. (Except Lyrion who is an optional character. You can save him from the Elemental Tower) There are 11 characters in total.
-If I recall correctly the Acorn is in the Spirit's church in Haven.
help, where is the lost temple beach? i can't find it
btw this is really such an amazing game, i really like story with a bit dark seasoning, i hope the sequel came this year.
