Beta-testing, anyone?

I'm not sure if this is from reading this article or not, but I'm going to try the whole "don't release a demo" thing. However, I'm not comfortable with just releasing the final product. So, I'm going to need beta-testers.

Basically, the plan is, I'd develop this to a good stopping point. Like an end-of-chapter. At that point, I would upload the game, and PM beta-testers (You?) with the link to the game. They (You?) would shoot back whatever commentary the feel is necessary. Then, I fix up the game, shoot it back, and so on. Alternatively, I may choose to hold back on updates on my end until the next "good stopping point". Usage of this alternative may depend on how many people actually sign up for this, what kind of changes need to happen, or how many changes need to happen.

Please note that I would prefer those who beta-test this game to have a copy of RPG Maker VX Ace, or, at the very least, it's related run-time package.

Well, maybe just a copy of Ace's RTP, then?

Hrm. I'm uploading a file, but there's only one person listed here right now. Might need to do a PM campaign.

*Edit: Scratch that. I want to include a debug room, and just let you guys run wild in there!

Sure, sure, I would like to test.
Debug room sounds like a good idea.

Three is better than one. Give me a moment to re-upload this...

*Edit: There is a "Tester" option under "Users" for a reason...
I should be available all day. So Ill download when I can.
Well, I found a few grammar errors and typos, as well as some other minor things. Shall I point them out here ?

Right now, I've got one vote for posting stuff on a private page (That's how I'm reading your PM, bigtime.), and one vote for going to Quick Topic (That's me). I'd like to have a more solid consensus on this, though having four people means that we could end up in a tie.

As for putting observations/commentary here, I'm a little shaky on that. I recall my experiences being a beta-tester for Heartache 101 - Sour Into Sweet, and how the game was constantly being pushed to the front page by me and others posting our commentary on the Testing thread, and people being terribly annoyed by it. That's how the "new games" section worked then. I know that it doesn't work like that anymore, but I still have those memories, and I want to avoid that, if possible.
