A Journey's End

Today I am stressing a bit about getting as much mapping done as I can since I am having surgery tomorrow and wont be able to work on A journey's End for few days.

Mapping...OMG it takes a long time to plan and map doing parallax mapping. Pretty much every map is built up of 4 different pictures that layer together and create a map. It takes me about 30min to an hour to map out a very small map, and with the game being similar to Secret of Mana style maps where each map is in pieces that form one big map, it takes so much time to make...

Aside from that the game is coming along great! Now there is 3 finished maps as a whole and working on Terralon Cave. So far I have mapped 8 pieces of the cave, but due to the game being a dungeon crawler style I am making the cave extra big with many floors. Sadly with how long it takes to make each map piece I could not make it a true dungeon crawler with random maps. *Le Sigh*

Well back to work there is only 7hrs left in this day for me and I need every minute if I am going to get a good amount done before my mini break.
