I'm too new to really grasp what's going on here, but my first impressions are that there's a lot of quitfagging going on because some oldbies don't like this or that. Too bad. Some of you have a lot of talent and I'd hate to not be able to track it down when I start my VG company.
I don't really see any fundamental problems with this site. In fact, it's one of the more dynamic and user friendly RM sites on the web (the rest are all glorified forums).
Of course, maybe you're leaving because you just like meridiandance better and my prior rant is just dumb noob speak =\

I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed in you, NB. This site has been pretty good to you, I think. You have a lot of fans here, some of whom were even willing to donate money to you to see your work continue. Leaving after that kind of seems like a slap in the face to the people who helped you out.
Think about that before you decide if this site is really as bad as you think it is.

I didn't participate much in that debate, and it annoyed me as much as you. My reasons for leaving, and the the reasons for many of the others stem far beyond the actions of the site's staff that one day.

My work is continuing, so I fail to see how I've slapped anyone. Though I wonder if the response be the same if I had chosen to host my game on an independent tumblr site? Oh well.
My view , which may be totally false, is, Nightblade, that you put yourself in a terribly complicated situation, and leaving seems reasonable or confronting(?),

Really sad news Nightblade. I guess I'll have to constantly check Meridian Dance for your third shot at this game. I'm really looking forward to a finished version of Phantom Legacy or any other game you happen to conjure up in the future.

It's okay that your going to post your project up on "Meridian Dance," but more and more people (like me) will probably play your game here, on RMN. It's disapointing that your leaving us here in the wind, but you were a pretty good member here from what I remember. I love your projects, and I wish you success wherever you happen to go. Try and swing back here if you do happen to get a moment, but I'll continue to check up on your progress on MD. :D

I think people are getting bored of it.
You can also post the game in Gamejolt when it's done but I think you already had an account there. Well good luck and keep up updated in MD about it!

looks like MD is getting mad exclusives!! yeah idk, as long as i can play the damn game i don't really care where you upload it on (unless it is on rapidshare).

But really... what's the point of this? I just don't get this RMN boycott. Finish your game and upload it to both MD and RMN, job well done, audience doubles. If you're not interested in RMN feedback then don't read it, simply keep the download up and watch the numbers grow. Silly drama.
