Travel back 6000 years to the cradle of civilization and bring together the settlements that became the Sumerian civilization, long before Gilgamesh strode the land between the Tigris and the Euphrates.
Granted, it is a fictionalized retelling of the founding of Sumer. You play as a leader of men (in modern parlance not a king, but a general) who must recruit men to defend their desert city.
Combat is the standard Dragon-Quest combat that you expect from a RM2K game, save that no one ever gains levels and there's no magic.
- Six different units (including a piece of technology that was invented by the Assyrians, but it does have its strengths in certain fields)
- More than a half-dozen rival cities that would love to see you engulfed by the sands of time
- Watch your city evolve as your empire grows
