Preface: A Word of Caution...Beware of Clouds!

When I originally uploaded this project I breathed a sigh of relief. Part 1 was done. And then a couple friends reported they were having some issues with achievements not working, which puzzled me because I had already completed and tested them.

Well, it turns out the Steam Cloud, decided to act up the day I decided to upload/update my project on it. It reverted my project to an older version, then overwrote my files on my local Documents folder. The next day, sitting down to dejectedly begin recoding everything, the finished project magically reappeared on the Steam Cloud.

I immediately saved it to a folder outside of my default project folder where the Cloud couldn't get to it...and right after I did...it once again reverted back to the older version. The Cloud then refused to let me update that version to the new one, so finally I had to remove my workshop item, create a copy of my project with a different name to get everything working. So...if anyone here uses VX Ace with Steam Cloud make sure you save backups of your projects outside of your default VXAce save folder and the Cloud.

What really freaked me out was that I almost lost a noscript Slot Machine (Video Link) which I created from scratch, that was a good 20 pages of event coding long.

Thankfully, order has now been restored.

Cliche Quest: The Story

Cliche Quest is a humorous, tongue-in-cheek good bad parody of classic RPGs complete with overused cliches, tropes and storylines. Dark Lord (of course) and his minions are terrorizing the land in search of the 5 Cliches of Power. With them he can rule Cliche Land...and somehow only you can stop him. Also, you kinda have to...and you'd rather not dammit.
