Excellent. It has a much better ending and final floor than the Game Chill release, and reworked bosses (although the two you fight in the video (I skipped ahead to see how far you got) are untouched)... should be more enjoyable. Poor Marrend, didn't have a good time on floor 4 XD

In my latest attempt at the Glorious Herald (I'm still playing 1.0, which is probably half my problem.), I was able to get rid of the Spirit Flames! The Glorious Herald, though? I dunno. I had the impression I was getting nowhere against it. On the other hand, I had the impression that it wasn't gaining too much ground on me. So, stale-mate?

v1.1 doesn't change her damage, only lowers her HP and healing a bit, just fyi... and lowers the chance of burning infliction on Judgment, I think.
I suggest pyroclasming the shit out of the spirit flames (use Get Angry + Channeling + Meltdown + Pyroclasm on turn 1 and 2 (obviously you don't need to redo Channeling on turn 2 though) and the spirit flames will be gone. illysdren is useless for most of the rest of the fight except for channeling/ice bash, so the 21 SP that takes up shouldn't really be missed.
try to keep MGC Down and LUK Down on the herald. she'll cure it every three turns, but it's worth re-applying. her phys damage isn't as scary as judgement. try to use icy bash (cast Zephyr on illys beforehand to give it a greater chance of working) as soon as the angel gets LUK Up on herself, because it makes montrys and derek far less effective.
the angel will take a lot of damage from derek's Mighty Dragon attack and montrys's entire skillset (sans tundra) if you keep MGC Up on her.
she's totally beatable in v1.0, but she is definitely "welcome to the danger zone."
edit: also try to get Encouragement (gransen) or Prayer (ysmena) out every turn. the heals are a little weak considered individually, but considering they work on everybody, they're very good against the herald's judgment and burning.
