The next game in the acclaimed open-world RPG saga. This time, a whole new world to explore. Welcome to the Orient.
After years of development and a long hiatus, Infinity IV is now an open source gift to the community. Complete it, fix it up, or build your own game off of it. Just give me credit, that's all I ask. Have fun with it, and enjoy what I created over a lengthy period. For more information on how and why this game was released uncompleted, go here. If you're just into playing the game, that's fine too. There are quests to take on and worlds to explore! Just beware of bugs!

From the creator of the open world RPG series, "Infinity".
With the release of Infinity IV in it's unpolished state, I could now focus on a new project that will take my game development in a completely different direction: a linear adventure game with the open world design I love doing. My next game is the first game outside of the Infinity series in years: Sherlock & Watson.
After years of catching cheating spouses, investigating blackmail schemes, and taking unique cases of the strange and surreal, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson face their most challenging case yet: a shocking cold blooded murder. In an original story based on the public domain characters, we find Sherlock and Watson in a vast new world fighting to solve the case.
Sherlock & Watson contains a mix of what I do best, with a set linear story that will test the player's detective skills. No battles, no stats to manage. This is also my first game using the new RPG Maker MV engine, and will be the first of my RPG Maker games to be playable online.

How do I get past the bandits? I've tried defeating them again and again, I defeated the center one, the left one and the right one - but they still won't let me pass!

Thanks for catching this bug! I've released a patch to allow you to explore the rest of the world without the bandits blocking the way. :) Get it here.
This game is by far my favourite <33 in fact I love it so much that it encouraged me to create an account just to comment haha :3
Although, I am having an issue trying to get an apartment in the city :L I can't talk to anyone in the apartments. Is this an issue or is it just me being a dumbo? :P

Wow! Really glad and surprised to hear you like the game. :) Always thrilled to hear someone enjoys my work, even when this game itself isn't complete. Speaking of which, sadly the apartments were never finished. You can use the elevator to explore them, but you can't rent one. :)
I like all the little elements to the game, I find the whole aspect of it so fascinating. Oh, thanks for letting me know!

:/ well...this was quite the disappointment tbh. after trying it out i feel as if i wasted my time downloading an incomplete game.
theres a tent in the first map (upper left section) that you can walk through as well as what appears to be a shop in that same section but the door doesn't work. some of the environment objects such as boxes and whatnot here and there you can walk through or over.
...what mining? i saw nothing i could interact with in the form of 'mining' in that cave despite having bought one of the tools for it.
the farm you start with is...eye candy and that's about it aside from the first-aid box having a full potion in it.
the hunting works. so that's...something. haven't bothered to try the adoption stuff but there really isn't much of anything to do as is. i mean, sure it all looks really nice but looks are only just so much without anything to actually DO.
so yeah, i really just assumed there'd be more to it than this.

how/where do you mine? cant find anything to interact with in the mine despite buying tools.
