Yeah i completely agree with you but the left side is meant to be the past while the right is the future, in the future the map is more detailed of course, but in the past that same place is just an empty valley. However maybe i should add some more things, mapping isnt my best skill haha.

Very barren looking map! Perhaps add some more vegetation? Trees, bushes, rocks? As it stands now, there's just way too much empty space here. The design and structure of the area looks good, though.
