My first Review :D

A, quite relaxing, psychological horror with a collage of creepy music, gelastic art and melancholic story glued together exquisitely!

Play time: 2 hours (took me an hour by skipping text)
V1.0

Hailey a solitary teenager who keeps herself inside her room during summer due to having no friends or is it that she thinks she does not have? When Hailey is asked, by her mom, to accompany her and Hailey's brother to the store\Market she eventually accepts. And then she is unwillingly taken to an 'imaginary' world where she search's to escape from it along with a mysterious boy who is lost as well. The story is not heavily narrated and does not show the need to be either. It has satisfying narration on verbal impertinence towards the protagonist in the market.
Spoilers
The story unfortunately has a plot-hole, why did (older) Oliver make an appearance after he had 'disappeared' post Hailey's new friendship. Even If we assume that after Alice stepped out of her life Oliver thought of a come-back, It is in middle school, half way through, that Oliver decides to show up, as Hailey is lonely again! It is not well explained.
As for the dialogues, it updates for almost every character after events. Even some of the NPCs who did not trigger the game's ending (like the guy who lends you his house key, later after bringing day to the cloud kingdom he wishes that he had not given his key but we return it to him). I also found the rude dialogues of the people in the market effective it made me feel for Hailey.
Of all endings, the #4 made me sad. Why did Hailey reject bringing Oliver back with her and leaving him. I became sad especially after looking at the CG where Oliver is present but not visible to Hailey as if he's a ghost. Would it be predictable to make him appear as a new student to Hailey's school and him having hazy memories of being friends with Hailey (TヘTo)

Hailey
She is a hermit, seems to like the state of a solitude and dislikes loquacious people! She is not shy nor ignorant, Do not mistake her for being unamiable or misanthropic in attitude. (From what I have grasped through indirect presentation throughout the game)She lacks confidence in herself, therefore sticks to a friend and does not move on to make new ones.I like her, specially her enthralling comments in the cloud kingdom (the scarecrow and the sign) <3

Oliver
Oliver is a sweet, kind-hearted boy who is full of positiveness and is concerned about others but, afraid and vulnerable at the same time.
I like both of them
I do seem to doubt the existence of the older oliver(but still like him and would love to see more of him in the game), but do understand that there would not have been a little character twist in the game, It creates a confusion in the logic but he is an imaginary friend after all he might have grown to not show his true form yet! Also little Oliver seem to be taller than he should be at his age (in a CG)but then I told my sister that he might have drank camel's milk :P

Alice
Alice is a good natured, supportive girl who has an important yet small, visual, role in the game. She has confidence and goes ahead with what future holds.

Johanna
A Cheery, bubbly middle schooler who likes making new friends and is upfront about it.

Mom
Is like every mom around the world. She is concerned about her daughter's hermit-like life and wants her to be sociable, and threatens her about cutting the internet connection. :p

Timmy
Hailey's younger brother is a carefree little boy who likes to do what he wants and eats what he wants. (not much is shown about him)

The puzzle for this horror game are more sensible than compared to the popular horror games I've played\watched, as it does not have any 'random chases' and jump-scares but is story-based and concentrates on the story objectives as well as character and needs. It has a number of choices to opt from, whether a selection from to-do or not to-do to, to-say or not to-say. Though this is where comes an unfavorable circumstance, Along with having multiple choices you may not know which affects the ending and which doesn't, resulting in playing the game a couple of times from the Beginning (if the player saved on the same slot). Which I find kinda lazy to do.(but I did it anyway :p, it was is an applaudable game) But since it's a game with puzzles on a whole new level, unique yet seem simple, it's not much of a frustration to replay.
Spoilers
There is an optional puzzle in the market where you give eggs to a lady or may be one more (don't remember), which is astounding. There are a number of explorable options like the drawing which affects the ending and the shovel.
I had the same strategy for my, now cancelled, game in which I kept on thinking to change the strategy from ending depending on various choices to getting all the pages which will be still obtainable before exiting the map for good, which I found as a better option :)
The pros of the game-play are that it had fresh and unexpected events such as the doll with ugly clothes dismantling (was startling)and then not following after us after exiting the room. Another doll getting 'smashed' was grotesque for me, getting inside the TV (I did believe they were going to chase after exiting too), taking the rope I was not expecting that monster to be immobile there :P!! it startled me. The stepping tiles were amazing as well as the treasure hunt. All the puzzles in school were phenomenal, the exams went all well for me :P of course I googled :D. Even though I found the library a bit too interactive with searching a lot, (I would like the bookshelves with no info to not respond) It was a good play with the hints leading to discover little Alice and the events that occurred after. A con, maybe, I found was that some of the doors would open when going near them while most of them needed an action button (enter\z key)to be pressed.

Custom graphics are what attract the viewers foremost in game ad\display but does not necessarily mean it depends on the rating of the game whether it is enjoyable or not. But it does decide for the viewer, whether he wants to play the game or he does not! The moderately comical art laid for the characters and beautiful CGs were amazing, they did not at all contrast to the theme of the game thinking that the artist made it look as such that even this style can represent horror elements. It was amazing that all the characters had face-sets even Timmy who had a few lines (with a running nose (ˊᗜˋ*), Johanna had 3-4 expressions, mom, Alice, scarecrow, king making people of the cloud kingdom an exception! I found all the custom graphics respective to their maps very satisfying and amazing as well. The character-sets were RTP style with edits. The animations\movie was creepy, they had me scared. (the water map was very pretty {⊘ ヮ ⊘} )

Maps were planned out pretty well with almost all the areas, few layouts of the unused maps showed details and complimented the story. Not all maps were utilized more than once, some maps were a bit too spacious.
Spoilers
The cloud kingdom being a kingdom seems fair and the elementary school being a school seems fair too but the former had a lot of walkway all the way from left side to the right, and latter had more rooms at the corner or all the way to the back side in the building. Considering there were shadows of the kids dwadling around which are not to be touched!

The game did not have more than 2-3 soundtracks. The ones it did were bizarre, creepy and scary which fitted well in the scenes used. Though the game needed an extra or two more music for some scenes which were trackless. While the soundeffects for selection and other in-game sounds were decent.
Spoilers
The skydive scene which was beautiful. The scene where Oliver is trapped in the alley before he is taken away by the shadow. and other countable short scenes that I don't remember. my sister and I found the monster laugh funny :p

Imaginary friends game is represented with an intro demo and trailers and has conveyed a note at the end of the game. Being the (first) game developed, designed and schemed out by a single person, which had no real bugs or event blunders, it was superb with satisfying features. I would recommend every horror\story lover to play it and enjoy! \(✧ᴗ^)ノ彡☆

PS: I'd love it if there would be a sequel Imaginary lover which I don't have ofcourse. :D

This is a pretty neat review. Mind your punctuation and grammar a little more, though - there are some words missing here and there which make it a bit awkward to read. Otherwise, congrats on your first review! Looking forward to seeing more from you. X3

Oh yes, Thank you ^^. I did a 2-3 day search on words and grammar to fit the style, character and theme English is not my first language, it's 3rd (๑◕ฺ‿ฺ◕ฺ๑)
