''The cold wind is blowing on my skin, but I don't mind.
I just want to go home and be with my parents.
I'm not hungry. I'm not thirsty. The sky doesn't show, it has disappeared.
Behind the shadows, the Afterlife is waiting for me.''

-SYNOPSIS-

A schoolgirl named Yuna finds herself alone in her classroom, without knowing what happened before. After a while, she meets his best friend Kazuki and will discover that creatures appeared from nowhere and tried to kill them. Together, they'll have to figure out what's going on and pass through this nightmare.

What is happening in this town?

-GAMEPLAY-

Afterlife: The Second Dimension is a puzzle-oriented horror game.
If you played games like IB, The crooked man or The Witch House,
you will have no problem playing this game.
You will have to solve puzzles, flee enemies without getting hit and look for lost documents in order to learn more about the characters and places.

-IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW-

- Use the SPACE key to interact with the environment (the object is glowing).
- Press Q to turn on the flashlight and to turn it off.
- Access the Menu by pressing X or ESCAPE.
- It is important and necessary to read all the documents you will find on your way to understand the story better.
- There is no life gauge. If you get hit once, you die automatically.

-CREDITS-

-The game was designed with RPG MAKER VX ACE.
-Edited by SOUL ART STUDIO (My studio's name).
-The story, music and some graphics were created by me, Vincent Gabriel C. (Lost6Soul).
-The lighting effects are designed by Khas Arcthunder, Moghunter and Woratana.
-Special thanks to Jasmine Martineau and All of you who played all the
Afterlife games.

-GAME COMMENTS-

- For god's sake, WEAR HEADPHONES for a better experience !

- This game is a REMAKE of the first franchise Afterlife, but with
a different story. Why ? Because I want the players who already played Afterlife, to experience something new, not only replay the game for his graphics.

- Why ''The Second Dimension'' ? Because the game takes back the same environments and mechanics in the first game franchise Afterlife, but in a different universe. Which means different characters and story. Some environments stay the same, but others are kinda different...
Well, you'll see yourself !

-WHAT'S NEW ?-

- New Story.
- Rearranged soundtrack + new tracks!
- Graphics and special effects are better.
- New jump scares and environments to explore.
- Artwork.
- All grammar errors are now fixed!
- Available in Spanish in the Downloads section!

-FINALLY-

I hope you'll enjoy this game, I've put a lot of effort in this game to make sure that you'll experiment the best gameplay and immersion possible.

Finally, here's my project on which I worked for 5 months (400 hours), the PROJECT R.E.M. In this demo, you'll explore three different environments which I hope will give you the impression of being in a dream!

The project is still in production. I hope it gets bigger and more ambitious in a few years. I'm currently working on what the gameplay's gonna look like. More explanations on the process I used on my artstation!

Rendred in real time in Unreal Engine 4. All 3D work and animation done in Z-Brush, Maya and textured in Substance Painter/Designer and 3DS MAX.

Hello Ayumuzz, I already tried to fix this but it didn't works so I disabled the ''A'' key on your keyboard. But...it seems like you're still able to use it ^^'
So the only thing left to do is do it yourself manually by pressing F1 in the game title screen, go to the ''Keyboard'' section and next to the key ''A:'' put nothing( which means ''-'').

I hope this will resolve your problem ^^
Thank you for playing !

Hi there, I'm really loving the game so far but it seems I'm stuck.
I'm in the cafe. The last thing I did was run into a room with a light switch, elevator, and a locked locker. I've checked/read all of the sparklies but none of them are a key. When I try to go back Yuna says it's too dangerous, and when I go to the elevator she says it's not responding. I'm at a loss for what to do, did I miss something?
Hello PaintingPurpleFlowers, the full walkthrough of Afterlife: The Second Dimension will arrive on monday or tuesday ^^ but I can give you one tip: ''look at the walls, near the table''.
Finally! here's the part I Walkthrough of Afterlife: The Second Dimension.
Next parts will be there soon!
Stay tuned.
Afterlife: The Second Dimension - Walkthrough Part I
Hello, we are aware about the ''A'' key crashing game bug and currently working on a new patch. For the ones who didn't know, while your in game and you press the letter ''A'' on your keyboard, the game crashes.
We already tried to disable the ''A'' key in the keyboard section(because anyway you'll never have to interact with the ''A'' key in the game), but it seems that when you download the game, the settings reset.

So the only thing left to do is do it yourself manually by pressing F1 in the game title screen, go to the ''Keyboard'' section and next to the key ''A:'' put nothing( which means ''-'').
I hope this will resolve your problem ^^

Ps: If you're too lazy, just AVOID pressing the ''A'' key on your keyboard!

Thank you for understanding.
Here's the FINAL part Walkthrough of Afterlife: The Second Dimension!
I hope you enjoyed the game!
Afterlife: The Second Dimension - Walkthrough Part IV (FINAL)
Hi, I played the first Afterlife game and I enjoyed it (this was the first RPGmaker game that had my heart pounding with anxiety when monsters started showing up). I played through Afterlife: The Second Dimension and I loved it even more. It kept a lot of the creepy, anxious atmosphere but had a better story in my opinion. It explained things a lot more than the first one, which left me with a ton of questions (which is fun in it's own right though I guess). I liked the sprites better in this one also and the music was great as always. Keep up the good work!
Wow! thank you so much Riddleriddle, It's really appreciated!
Comments like this makes me want to make a game again haha ^^
Maybe soon! and if you loved my music in this game, check out the album that I've made this year Here! hope you like it.
Thanks again for your support!
are you using Mythos Horror Resource Pack?
the tilesets are very familiar....
Yes I am! I think it fits perfectly the game ^^
Alright so I've been trying this room for a while now... The room nearing the end, I assume, where there are balls rolling around and blue orbs running around the coal, sometimes the ball runs you over or the blue things kill you from too far away. Like they'll be three spaces away... might wanna check it. Might just be me. But this game is really really good so far! I have had to do a lot of places over and over again to pass, mainly because I can be terrible at running away, but it was worth it.
Hello dimiria. I looked for ''the room nearing the end''(which is the last boss room) and it seems there's no problems with the blue fire balls. Maybe it was just a lag or something... Anyway, I'm glad to see that you like the game so far!And yeah this game can be a real challenge sometimes ^^ don't give up!

Thank you for playing!
Haven't given up yet! Almost finished it. Have one little thing left to crack. Stupid fire balls xD Anyway, I noticed that sometimes when you die, your dead body lies there but you can also be walking away as a normal person. Its like there is two of me. o.o Just thought it was kind of creepy to be able to walk away from my body like a ghostie. I thought that might be lag at first too, but I've died a few times on purpose to test it aaaand still happens. Might just be me again though. Back to the boss fight /o/
Wow I was at the end. xD Well then. I almost cried at the end. That was... so sad... but so amazing... :D Really amazing. I wish I was as good at coming up with a game as that.
Woah... I don't know what happened when you download the game cause you seem to have weird lags haha! I tested the game again and when I died I couldn't move after that(which is what is supposed to happen). I really can't explain why it is happening to you ^^' but I'm happy to see that these lags didn't stopped you from finishing the game!

Thank you for the positive comments, I really appreciate it!
Awesome Game! Absolutely great, I would rate it 5 out of 5! Outstanding, I would certainly want to play this game again sometime later, its just that good. After playing Ib, this is game that I can say most certainly was the best I played in such a long time. Great game, I hope you would make more like these in the future which I no doubt would love to play. Great Work.

Also, I think that Kazuki and Yuna are inspired by Sword Art Online characters, no? I noticed their names and appearance; since unlike many others I am observant of every little thing around...
