Kago to Torii is an RPG Maker VXA horror game being developed. Set in Japan during the mid 1990's, it will aim to give the player the most scary RPG maker experience possible!
It follows the story of the main character, Inko, and her life as the daughter of a mysterious family that live in the outskirts of a rural town in Japan.
It will have elements of gore, puzzle, and psychological terror.
It will feature original character art and voice acting.

i enjoyed the game and hope certain people get whats coming to them as necessary
looking forward to a completed game :3

i assume that the girl your playing as is a victim of some form of abuse probably physical rather then sexual at this point in time.
the spirit monster that appears in your room in the 1st 60seconds is probably the god/punisher that will make your parents pay but attacked you because of reasons mentioned in the game :3
i do not get the ending tho. your in your room like it was a dream but your mom is mad you left your room even tho you had no choice.(dam she is a bitch)
yet somehow is unaware of anything that happened during the previous night(which is odd not because she wasn't home but things around the house suggest she does know about this stuff)
i also assume that...you had a sister who died and that potentially your character forgot something important for some reason.
thats about the size of it :3

Okay, you didn't only convince me that you're able to create a great horror atmosphere but also that you're great at making interesting puzzles. I'm definitely gonna play the game the first night it's out. I'm really looking forward to this.
I just hope that it's gonna be just as interesting as the trailer and mysteries on your site make it seem. Please don't disappoint us and make a great horror game!

The demo takes place before the events of the main game, so i'd recommend you play it once the game is released, to get the full experience!

Oh, I thought the demo was just part of the whole game but if that's not the case then I'll gladly play the demo before the full game is released. I think this kind of approach is actually smarter anyway because the people who already played the demo won't be bored when they have to play through the same part twice. The reason why I don't like playing demos is mostly because they oftentimes end on a cliffhanger and then you have to wait so long till the full game is released and eventually die from excitement. Literally. And I'm still to young to die such a death. Guess I'll give it a try then.
