A long time ago, a small village was suddenly wiped out with no one in sight. Sadly it was never found out what happened to said village. However that isn't the case as one person does know, but vanished from the public. Years later a young solider discovers a mysterious group of demons that plan on wiping out everyone in sight for food supply and decides to face off against them. The only way to get rid of the demons however, is to cast a spell that forces them to leave the world. Due to him not having magic abilities he decides to search for the person that vanished from the pubic all those years ago. As he journeys on and fights the mysterious group, he meets up with several new faces and friends that share similar goals. However as he travels on he realizes something isn't right...
Main Character
A young soldier recently promoted to Colonel. He joined the military for the purpose of protecting others. He stays head strong to his ideology to the point where he'll do anything to protect, even things that may seem risky or ridiculous.
Gardo
The General of the main character's quarters. He may look intimidating but loves to joke around. He may not be the ideal General due to him not taking his job very seriously or spying on his fellow soldiers but he is still very respected and is a friendly face in the military.
Bernist
A magic user who isn't the nicest guy in the world. Known to be very cocky and arrogant but deep down can be a big softy. He joins the main character on his quest in search of his missing father whom he believes is working for said demon group.
Wendy
Wendy is part of a sketchy group in a village called Great Tree. She is an expert on physical medication and is a good fighter. Both with a bow and magic. She joins the main character on his quest because she felt inspired by his efforts.

CloseSorry for the delay, I recently got Effectus but it's not compatible with the jump script. Source is not available so I can't ask for a comparability patch yet.
Compressing the RTP version now, will most likely have to link it to my dropbox since the RTP made the file bigger.

To fix the plot hole, I had to change the timeline a bit, instead of when Demise comes back after 34 years, it's 20 years.

It's when i arrive to Fercio, fern asks me to go to pub to talk with Gardo. Gardo tells me i need a companion. Automatically I am transferred to Selas house and Bernit is the active carácter

I don't remember you playing as Bernist, this is how the scene goes:
1. You arrive at Fercio and you ask Fern where Gardo is at, he takes you to the pub.
2. You talk to Gardo at the pub and the backstory happens.
3. After the backstory, you are transported back to the entrance of Fercio, told to find Sela.
4. When you find Sela and talk to her, she goes upstairs.
5. You then talk to her upstairs and she goes back downstairs.
6. You talk to her again and Bernist leaves.
7. You then talk to Bernist at the pub.
Are you using a previous version? Or did you do something that is not related to these steps? If an NPC is blocking the door then you just wait for him to move out of the way.

I'm in windows 10. Tried compatibility with windows xp, and windows 7 . Can never have a dialog with Gardo.
Odd, I don't know compatibility with other windows.
Try re-downloading it and adding your save file to the new download or restarting your file. You can blast through the opening since you can skip cutscenes.

I have some questions:
- i'm going to mt. volcano and it seems that i need a boat that might be available in "secret passage". where is this secret passage located?
- where is the ring that's in "missing ring" side quest?
i can't seem to find those two. thanks a lot!

After your interaction with the boat captain, a sailor tells you of a house at Great Tree where a group of people give out boat passes, go to Great Teee and I believe the biggest house has your location.

Edit 2: Awwww man!! I was really getting into the game and then it said TBC... Guess I'll have to wait for the next update...

Sorry for the multiple posts, but after playing the game, I had some questions & thoughts..
1] What's the difference in the 2 types ATB? I tried changing the settings to see what it was but did couldn't really tell if there was any change in the battle style(it's possible that I was doing something wrong but I got confused with the multiple active/tick or half/quarter time etc stuff) It would be helpful if you could list out all the details and what each option does for the ATB settings because the Info option in ATB settings didn't really help me..
2] I had multiple game crashes during battles, which were mostly of 3 types:
A] When using a certain type of spell/magic in battle(not sure which one), I got an error message(I think it was of a missing file error, I couldn't get an image of it), the game would just crash and I had to reload the game again..
B] When a character was talking mid-battle and the battle resumed from the dialogue, the bottom menu would glitch and I would not be able to do anything(my characters were frozen and the turn bar would not move) however the enemy could continue attacking me while I was stuck & my HP was also reducing due to the attacks. I had no option but to close the game, reload and try the battle again..(Again i'm not sure, if the dialogue was the main reason for this, I also felt it might be caused due to using the MC's ability of Aura Blade/Wound right before the dialogue happened, because when I did not use those skills, the battle continued normally)
C] Lastly, this happened only once on a random monster encounter in the forest so it wasn't that of a big deal, but after defeating the monster the game glitched and I got stuck in a loop of neverending XP.. I got some points and then it would again keep giving me XP and not let me exit out of the battle.. I had to close the game and load the save file again...
3] Last question is what's the purpose of the books and the camera settings? I used to select the books and then it used to just disappear from the items list and didn't really find any difference in changing the camera settings.. (Again I'm pretty sure I was doing something wrong & just couldn't notice anything coz I'm not that observant)
But anyway, it's a really good game & I'm looking forward to playing the rest and see the ending... It's been a while since I played an RPG with a good story... Thanks :)

1. It's been a while since I checked but if I remember the differences is when the bar stops at a certain point like selecting a option in battle. I should update the info lol
2. A. I'll see what skills is missing a file
B. Not sure how that happened but I'll look into it
C. This one occurs when two enemies attack you at the same time, like if two events happen at once it has that unfortunate problem. I'll continue to look into that
