In a small feudal Japanese era town lives a girl named Othello. Being born a woman in a lower status family has lead to many hardships in Othello's life. Her father is constantly abusive and not all of the villagers treat Othello with respect. Is Othello destined to live out her days in this village as a lowly Betel Nut girl? Or is there a greater destiny awaiting her.
Othello is a story about a young woman overcoming the restraints of her oppressive society. Othello finds an inner strength in her and uses her sword to seek out justice in a world filled with injustice.

You aren't supposed to do anything yet :)
You need the hook shot to go across.
When you defeat the wizard, the man who gave you the blade to cut grass will be standing here.
I'm not really sure where you are in the progression of the game so I can't tell you what you need to do next.

After you get Claire (and beat that dungeon by facing the boss there) you need to go back to Othello's house with 30 betel nuts.
You can either buy those or get them from encounters in the first forest area.
After that scene I would try finding another summon on the outskirts of the town maybe, because in this "special situation" you will be able to have two guardians at the same time (this isn't possible during other times where you can only have one.)
After that head East of that second town.
Yes, I was just going to write that I took care of the wizard :D I also have three summons in total, I collected them beforehand. I went back to Claire's house with the betel nuts, had the scene with her father, and she went somewhere. I even went back to previous places, to get stuff I couldn't before. Thank you, I finally can continue :)
I want to thank the creator for this perfect experience. I'm usually a person who is very strict about the RPG games I play, and if they don't grab my attention in any way, I just drop them and go on to the next one. This time this was not the case. I enjoyed every single moment of this game, as it captured my attention ever since the beginning. To me the story was very captivating, the art was perfect for my taste and I loved the battle system, which allowed the different heroes to use all kinds of different and unique skills, which also makes the game experience much more richer and exciting. The only thing which disappointed me was that level 25 was the maximum, mainly because I love leveling. Overall, this was a very enjoyable game, which I couldn't drop and finished in 2 days.

We got Kefka in this game... I'm sold
EDIT: Simple medium length RPG. Had a crash occur when using hookshot while standing inside a crystal. Hardest boss is the necromancer that uses doom and then proceed to use some MLG turtling. Chucked all my money at it. Not like money is useful for anything else, anyway, since all the equipment I really need is just drops or crafting. One area in the lava area was extremely laggy.
I feel like the game description above is massively misleading. The description looks like serious business, but the plot is extremely far from serious. It's actually ridiculously lite-heart casual and not serious at all.
It's a decent game, but expectation from this webpage description and the actual plot is very different. I think that's the biggest issue here.

Sorry if this is a bit unclear, I made this game quite a while ago, and may not clearly remember everything correctly.
What characters do you have in your party?
You should have Othello, thief girl, space girl, and the girl who can summon.
If you finished the lab it tells you to go to another town which is to the east of that place. You should see a scene upon entering. Then you will find a place in the wall to enter. You will rescue the summon girl, but I believe you need to defeat the dungeon boss before proceeding any further. After you get this girl get the beetle nuts and return home.
Also upon returning to your town prior to this there probably shouldn't be guards standing in your way... (I know you can jump over them, but for story purposes it's like saying you should be back here yet.)
If there's any issues after doing this all let me know. I think I still have the game in my files so I can fix whatever is going on.

(You'll get that item after a dungeon after returning to Othello's father. You still got a while to go in the game. Be careful not to use the hookshot while directly under a crystal though. I heard that could crash the game.)
