Let's blame Justin Trudeau.

Many critical bugs existed in the last couple of versions of this project. Anyone who downloaded Version 0.1.8 or 0.1.9 should re-download the latest version.

Version 0.1.7 was going to be the last revision before cutting it off for development of chapter 2. And the first thing I did after the cutoff was some heavy factoring to the Pathfinder and target selection. These changes never got thoroughly tested because I hadn't worked on any real content like maps or battles yet. Then another critical bug was pointed out to me and I couldn't just leave it, so I put up a new version with the refactorings "thrown in because why not", and I'm not using a VCS for this project because who uses a VCS with RPG Maker? And so, basic operations like event collisions on maps and target selection in battles were scrambled. I'm sorry.

Nah, just fix em up and the new players won't know the difference! I've held off on playing for now, but might give it a go later down the track. Good luck!


(besides, some of the best known/loved games on the site had their fair share of bugs. people don't remember that at the end of the day, after replaying. And 4.5 star review ain't nothing to shake your head at! that means that someone thought it was pretty damn great.)

I agree with Libby there is no reason to get upset at some bugs when you must have a decent game if your sporting a 4.5 star review!

Crashbugs make me sad but you're right I'll avoid moping because YOUR SUPPORT IS SO MEANINGFUL. SUPPORT +1.
