Smaller environments? I'm not sure about that. I think more stuff should be put in the house instead. Alicia's portrait is covering up most of the house, so perhaps I'm wrong here, but it looks like the kid's room looks a lot more fleshed out than the adult's room, when I think it should be the other way around. I mean, the singular kid gets a larger room while two parents have to share a room half that size, so I would think that the parents would have more stuff in their room.
Unless the story behind this is that the parents are doting on the kid at the cost of their own possessions, in which case nevermind.
