The new version (v2.0) is now uploaded for downloading.
It's completely the same as the Steam version, only without the achievements.



A young witch named Charlotte and her maid Amelia went trick or treating on the Halloween Eve, and somehow they decided to visit a cursed mansion.
Before Amelia could figure out anything, she was on her own in this huge, ominous house. Dance with the ghosts, play with the dolls, and hopefully, she can uncover the dark past of the house and see Miss Charlotte again.

You'll play as Amelia the Pumpkin Maid. It's about exploring and solving some puzzles in a spooky atmosphere. There will be jumpscares, romance, many deaths (bad ends) and a happy ending of true love.

- Warning -
It contains blood, death, jumpscares, and ghost/monsters.


A light-hearted Halloween adventure. The puzzles are not hard, either.
About 90 minutes gameplay.
Original spirites and CGs.
Multiple ends and 9 dead ends.
A hidden room (Extra) will be available after the Normal or True end.
A new outfit for Amelia will be available for the second run :D

Yes it is. It's supposed to be a hidden item that you can finish the game without finding it.
I admit the room is nothing but a decoration. (There are some meaningless stuff in the game...) I'm considering adding something in the future version. Or maybe delete it.

Sorry I was hesitating about the room but did nothing except taking its door...it was actually John's room. I'm thinking about if you keep checking the door, it'll give you some hint about the game's progress, but maybe a room can't go in still confuse players...
And I'm sooo happy to know you like the tea party game, it's very encouraging :D
But maybe you'll have to wait for a while lol! I'm still away, and don't have much free time in July. I'm going to make a steam version of T&T, too, which will take some time. Hopefully a demo can be made in autumn.

*long post warning* *congratulations on the greenlight*
I see four scenarios with that room.

-You make it a room that the players can enter. This of course means that it needs to have a purpose. A puzzle, a component to a puzzle that's in another room, something to advance the narrative, just a spooky thing, or any combination of those.

-You keep the room but the player never gets to enter, and it still serves no gameplay purpose. This is as easy as having John requesting that while you're looking around that you stay out of that room (and the master bedroom). I think your John fans will appreciate the extra dash of polite self-consciousness.

It means that the player gets information that Amelia doesn't, so there's no logical reason that she'd know. That is unless the player knows the true answer and Amelia just says she made a wild guess and was correct. That's very much like her but it still feels like a cop out. RaBooks, you can me if you want another example where having it used for a puzzle still works if that's something you care about.

-You re-purpose it to take the place of an existing non-playthrough room, like the bonus room. When they get to the bonus room they'll see that it is that room they couldn't enter before. IMO I don't think it's good to make the bonus room accessible through that specific door because that means the player needs to replay up to when they have access to that room to get the bonus content. Sure, it's a very short amount of time but it would be unnecessary steps for the player. You'd essentially be changing unnecessary content into unnecessary work. But IMO this is a great solution that minimizes work on you and adds a feeling of extra achievement for players who unlock the bonus room, since they also get completion in knowing that they've been in every room in the castle. Whether you change John's room into the bonus room or the bonus room into John's room would be more of a narrative choice but it would affect the current bonus room regardless.

I really enjoyed the game but I was so, so disappointed when I realized Amelia couldn't end up with Richard even though I replied "yes" to the note on the coffin... I mean, I only started to play the game to end up with him but he was already paired with Charlotte :(

I'm so happy you said yes! Richard and Charlotte is just one possibility. He is not sure of his feelings yet (in fact, none of them) therefore he's not paired with anyone :)

I'm kind of glad that you didn't finalize any romances beyond "These two should hook up" because there wasn't enough interaction time for that.
Ready to make the steam store page and stuff... But I actually know nothing about steamworks or coding... I'll be trying and learning and thinking about dlc.

Maybe he was writing in l33t to save even more space (2 full words being way too much) and he meant "For hour". Ooooh I do love a good mystery because that makes even less sense than "4 hour".
Well, I started this while forgetting I had other games to finish, so here's my notes up to my first save point! ... Are you taking more feedback? Or do you not, 'cause you're working on the other now? Which is totally fine! 'Cause then I'll just respond with script errors and other things that are a bit more important to learn from than typos.

So, are the dancing shadows supposed to appear on the red carpet if you do whatever I did?

And on returning to the room, from the left, I've got a 3rd pair of shadows... And leaving to the left gets me a ghost, which I can't interact with.

Oh, the Forest Save Book is really out of the way... Perhaps move it closer to where the cutscene ends, and point it out in the instructions??
