The Lady lives in a nice mansion, far away from the city. One day, her cousin Christine gets a letter. Her and her childhood friend, Quinton, travel to the mansion only to find out that the lady has been cursed. She is still alive, however she cannot respond or move at all. They are now dutied to travel into her mind to find who cursed the lady.

Fragments of Mind is a short surreal rpg with slight horror and comedy elements. Explore The Lady's mind and uncover her secrets. This game was made for Rpg Maker Net's ''Swap In the Middle With You'' event, where a person has to finish the first part of a game and then another person will continue developing it.

-(Mostly)Custom Graphics
-Around an hour of gameplay
-Challenging battles you can't get by just mashing spacebar
-Rewards for those who explore enough

Fragments of Mind: MV Demo

So, in the shadows, I've been working on an update of Fragments of Mind!
First off: Updating to RPG Maker MV instead of 2k3.
Working a bit on the writing and levels as well, and I do want to involve Frogge again. I figured I wanted to make a solid base and properly get some writing input and help in that aspect!

I'm getting some private beta testing in at the moment, and then I may upload it here! It might be a good bit before the game itself is fully done, but I want to see if I'm going in the right direction here.

I have updated some sprites/tiles/maps since the original. Hoping to get something out for people to play!

Just finished it!

I share some of the same sentiments with Kylalia. There weren't really any clues that the doctor was the villain all along, it kind of felt thrown in at the last minute. Given the nature of the event, however, I kind of understood it.

You got some bugs. For some reason you can select Health Tonic and target Christine during battle when you can't in the menu, and the item will consume itself without actually healing her. I think I saw a couple of chests that were open without me actually opening them. Check your switches.

There was one chest I couldn't open at all:

Otherwise, it still had its moments of fun. The final boss fight, while cliche, still felt climatic and interesting with how everyone was calling out for you and such. That ending, though, was total cheese, or maybe I just like more "implied" romantic relationships than blatant.

And yeah whoops, I guess after the event is over (judging too, it'd be unfair to alter it), we can fix up treasure chests and all that stuff! Feedback is helpful, so we (Or just Frogge, so I can be lazy) can fix it
