Version 1.6 out! / WARNING!

The version 1.6 of the game has been released!

Together with some bug fixes regarding some missing animations and some small issues with the game's collectibles, the game now features its own trophies and leadboards system if you have a GameJolt account you can log in with!

WARNING: The downside is, that the previous version's save files doesn't work with this version of the game!

If you don't want to start over and/or you're not interested in these new features, but you want the bug fixes, here's a small hotfix for the 1.5 version: https://www.mediafire.com/?i5142s5syy5cspc

Alternatively, PM me! I can prepare a 1.6 save file for you.

Have you installed the 1.6 version?
DynRPG has been updated in order for the new online plugin to work.
Because of that, the 1.6 version is incompatible with the 1.5 one and a fresh installation of the game is required.

Mind, even your save files won't work anymore.
You can just install the 1.5 hotfix in order to play without the online features but with the new bug fixes: https://www.mediafire.com/?i5142s5syy5cspc

Or I can prepare a save file for you if you give me all the details. :)

As I said, I updated from version 1.5 to version 1.6 using the installer. I guess the update code didn't work right... (I've uninstalled the old version and installed the new one.)

Oddly, my save file still works (unless there was a change in the code that would prevent me from continuing...). I haven't progressed that far on the game, but I'll let you know if the save broke.

Now that you mention it, one of my friend recently managed to load one of his older save files as well.

But whenever I try to do so, the game crashes in a really bad way. Same thing happened to one of my testers. I suppose it depends on how and where the game saves.

But the possibility that the save file doesn't work is still there.
If yours works, though, go for it. If you encounter any issue, just contact me.

I've also reuploaded the installer.
It now lets you overwrite existing files, choose if you want the GameJolt's plugin installed or not and it also installs the Microsoft VC++ redistributable 2013 package correctly, if you don't have it (needed for the plugin to work). Perhaps I'll write a blog entry about it.
