The scary realization that this game won't be out until 2018, and the frightening prospect that it might not be until mid-2018 (or even later!).
Am I scary or what?
Admittedly, progress has slowed right down as the real-life responsibilities that come with children and fall shot up in priority. My PUSHTODO drive in late September failed spectacularly when I got sick with a nasty cold (I mean, I got some stuff done/started, but not nearly what I wanted to do). My failure to progress has caused me to be hesitant to push my teammembers back to work on their parts (composing and spritework). Avee has been working diligently though! (You can see the latest sprites and animations in the images section and on my Twitter). The kids are in a bajillion different activities (and I joined them in taekwondo for some reason. My legs hurt all the time now). Work also has a major project wrapping up - it's crunch time. But then I am out of a job December 5th. The good news is that I would then have ample time to work on my game projects (and RMN's codebase). The bad news is I would quickly run out of money and lose my home. So it would probably be best if I focused on my job search.
*sigh*

You should make your children test your game once it's finished. Unless they're not into that kind of stuff. XD
Don't put too much pressure on yourself. I think it might be best for you to focus on securing a new job soon. You can spend more time on the project when things are less hectic.
Tell the kids it's time to get a job! And threaten them with taking away Christmas. Canadians celebrate Christmas, right?
I swear I'll get back to music soon! I need to go boost the hell out of the songs I made (my old computer sound sucked so I didnt know how quiet it was)
I also plan on redoing battle theme.
Life has been sbjbjsnjnsjnsjns lately.

Secure that job, bro. That and family are first priority. Game can wait. Mid- or even late-2018 isn't that long, to be honest. It'll come around.

Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

Looking for a job is pretty much a full-time job in and of itself, so definitely focus on the job search. We can wait for the game.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Yes, but we call it Beavertine, and instead of decorating a tree we decorate a moose (in honour of the time John A. MacDonald rode into Hudson Bay to beat back the wendigo and thus form the Confederation of Canada). On Beavertine Eve the children gather around the moose and whap it with their hockey sticks 3 times and then take a lick of frozen maple syrup. In the east sometimes they also eat a plate of poutine.
That's amazing. Maan, Canada is so lucky.
