I am saddened to finally acknowledge that I am longer able to get in contact with Bigwig. He made some really cool concept art and began on the monster sprites, delivering 19 of them:
As such, I have been in contact with some of the busiest artists in the RM scene: Archeia_Nessiah and JosephSeraph. Archeia has taken pity on my and was going to take a look at what it would take to make some battle backgrounds.
JosephSeraph comes highly recommended by many people (of course). We have to an arrangement that I believe works for both of us and my fixed budget, for the monster sprites. I have also discussed the possibility of doing battle animations and battle backgrounds with Jo. And Avee has helpfully provided the palette he has developed so far.
As Bigwig is now MIA, Jo will begin working on redoing the 19 monster sprites Bigwig had delivered so far, in his own style. A more concerted effort to harmonize the work between Jo and Avee's battlers is also underway.
The downside to this is that the money I spent on Bigwig's work is "lost" (from the project's budget perspective, that is). I liked Bigwig's work, and appreciate all he did provide. I think I will release the work he provided me as some free-to-use resources for the community (I did pay for them, afterall).

CloseThat's a shame about Bigwig going MIA. If you've wondered why I've discontinued my Patreon commitments, I've become a student and can't support the Patreon payments I used to do anymore. Nevertheless, I wish you the very best with Hero's Realm's future! JosephSeraph is a talented and reliable commission artist who I highly, highly doubt will ever go missing. He has been around for years and has been a very present force on many forums during this time.
