What's unsettling about the death of Ilan is that he turned up to be an independent, which doesn't reinforce anybody's arguments, so in a sense we're still just as clueless.

No, and you aren't getting paid to be a smartass either. Just because you can't competently play the game, doesn't mean that you have to be an ass. :)
That comment was pretty much unnecessary, and you're the reason this hiatus is in place anyway. Keep your erratic behavior and testosterone highs out of the game.
We need one more lynch on Ilan for a hammer. There actually isn't much left to be achieved this day phase in the first place, you're just stalling the inevitable for people who won't provide any valuable information. :(
