I like making games, esp. horror games!

Thanks for taking the time to play and review the game also!! It really means a lot to me because I don't know how others (players) view the game... If I knew I'd be able to make appropriate changes to the game as needed =]
I'm really looking forward to it! A bit anxious because I know I'm still far from anything too good... but excited regardless! I'll be sure to watch it closely and ready for any comments/criticism you have to offer (I'm pretty sure the other game download had several bugs, they weren't fixed until today's release of version 1.0).

why cant I see the items, the beds etc? its confusing me seriously since it looks like its mostly empty and suddenly I bump into somethign and oh its a bookshelf...I quess :D otherwise this is a really really intersting game :)
Hello! Sorry for that problem Kanonshiki... The download link you happened to choose is currently broken. There is another link "Grounded - Raw version" which should work out just fine, although it's a bit outdated.
In a couple more minutes I'll fix the broken link so you can download that and have the most recent version with minimal (if not any) game bugs =]

No problem! Here you are:
The cat will only come out when you give it some bread (You get bread from the vending machines {dorm 1} and money from the ??? room's vault). when you get the bread, you have to use the item in front of the cat... then interact with it. the cat will now come out of the hole
Also, I'm also about to release version 1 (fixed bugs, encrypted data and a new game icon) real soon! Thanks Mister for all the bug reports! =]

you will need the cat to distract him (just walk up to him with the cat in your inventory, it's automatic)... getting the cat out of the crack is a different problem

@MisterMolby - Oh lol, sorry if I made that part a bit tricky! and thanks for the bug report! I'll fix that up in the next update! Oh, and here's the solution to the security lock =D
@Delayed_Chimera - The normal version is an encrypted game (certain files will be hidden from the users) but I can't get it to work because of the parallax backgrounds I'm using for the game. So I guess you could say that the normal one is broken and the raw version works (but the files are not protected properly)
You won't be able to notice any difference with the actual gameplay however... they are both identical =D
The "??? Poster" is a passcode puzzle. The first number is represented by the stages of life and how many of each type there are. On the last stage... you may notice that the background, also, includes a butterfly (That explains why the robber couldn't get the passcode to work also) =]

All Hallows' Event 2013
I did it!!! I finally finished the interactive game that I've been working (3 days straight and one semi-all-nighter till 3:00 am) to finish!!
I tried to make it so that you need to investigate objects in order to find clues / items (like being all investigative and stuff). I'll be around to help out if anyone does want to try it out and happens to get stuck =P till then, I'll be relaxing and playing others' games..
Edit: the old download was a fail... it exposed some areas of the game. sorry for that! here is the updated link:

@Mizumori - We finally made the game... although it's still in need of a juicier plot! Hopefully you don't get too stressed out with searching for clues and solving small riddles / puzzles =P
Thanks for supporting the project, Mizumori! Oh, and yeah... working with siblings is fun. That is, until the final hours of production xD we were all so stressed lol
