I'm a hobbyist game maker. I like making games as both a hobby and a challenge. I'm currently trying to make a game using the Linear Motion Battle System similar to Tales of Eternia. If you are interested, check out my youtube of the progress! Located here:

Well. Just like Nightblade said, please don't take offense, I'm just saying some things _I_ think should be said.
In regards to the face graphics and the out-of-battle healing.
Skie, in the next game you make, if you're gonna gun for something, please do it all the way! If you REALLY wanted to include artwork of faces and such, you should have taken the time to make the sad/angry/whatever faces too. It's no excuse saying "i didn't have time/artists" because, honestly, if you're doing something, you might as well do it all the way, or not at all.
This applied to the CMS as well. If you weren't able to make a CMS with usable items, you should have just diched the CMS altogether, or IN you CMS made a option to open the DMS (and removed all the DMS features except ITEM). This is what I did in my game, CMS with the DMS too, because I'm no RMgod either, but I didn't want ppl to say "I can't heal".
Anyway. The game was pretty good, a bit too fast in the way things happen, and I really didn't like the chibi battle characters at all, (i hate chibi stuff. period) but I found the advancement systems to be really cool and the artwork was VERY nice, like, PROFESSIONAL QUALITY nice.
Good luck with RMVX or XP or whatever you're making the next game in. If it has scripting, then all the CMS things will a snap to pull off ;D

I don't know how to check the number of downloads from RMN, but in general my game FFD has 1865 downloads from rapidshare (and amazingly its still on rapidshare even though I posted it last year, and forgot about it till I read this topic) and 1004 downloads from UI.
