Some of the item's shadows look pretty bad. I don't guess that's your fault through, unless you edited them.

Well where can i fix the PTP window skin?
I'll try to fix the repetitive gameplay in v1.3...
Have any ideas for the music?
Find a new window skin on the internet, save it to your desktop, rename the window skin to "window" and place it inside your system folder inside your graphics folder. A suggestive way to fix the repetitive gameplay would be to add some sort of additional feature that takes the player away from having to just go from village to village. Perhaps a few additional side-quests or a simple crafting system (although you probably don't want to mess with such a thing until you have a little more experience). As far as music goes, I haven't a clue. Just use Google, I suppose. Be sure to credit!
Coldcrest Archipelago Review
Alright, Milos. Here goes.
The story is lacking. The introduction doesn't even give a clear and, at the very least, simple understanding of what's going on. You're shipped right out onto the world map. And although the game does have direction, it's boring direction. The character's aren't designed to have any sort of personality, moral, objective, or reason. If I were you, I'd sit down before creating any project and think up of at least two characters that you can really relate to and flesh out.
Get rid of the RTP window skin. It's just plain and simple. Work on your mapping. You seem to know which are floor tiles, wall tiles, and roof tiles, but you don't add any creativity or variety to your work. And I'm not talking about having one village in the forest and one village in the mountains. I'm talking about making each and every village, town, and city different. This also goes for dungeons. Every dungeon in this game looks exactly the same.
The gameplay has been seen before. Just because it's your first game doesn't mean it has to be generic. Not only that, but the gameplay is nothing more than repetitive battles. Here's what your gameplay is based on: similar village -> quest -> similar dungeon and battles -> reward. Then repeat. And although some gamelay can be repetitive and still fun, it isn't here.
The music is RTP, duh. Okay, this isn't so terrible. But you should look around on the internet for some music that fits into your game. Don't just grab some non-sense song and add it in. I didn't even take off for this.
My main two concerns with this game is the graphics and the gameplay. While I don't mind seeing the RTP tilesets used, they should be used correctly and with a little bit of imagination and creativity. There's really nothing worst than seeing the same thing over and over and over in a game. Remember that I can only tell you what is wrong with your game and give minor to mild suggestions. You have to come up with your own ideas, I believe. If you need help with mapping, character/villain design, battle design, or any other kind of design, RMN has tons of tutorials written by those who have made, or been apart of, a successful game.

Have I seen this before on another site? I know that I've played this game before, but not from here.

author=Corfaisusauthor=BareGamerHe did say that it was his first game. Drop it.author=MilosYou purposely uploaded a game that you knew was pretty bad?
I knew that without your help, but thanks anyway.
I think I can discuss whether or not the review is helpful or non-helpful. It's not like we're insulting each other back and forth.
