What is everybodies thoughts on the heavy use of status effects?
My current 2k3 project has every single status effect I could think of; (The ten default and seventeen custom.)
I posted a screenshot of this in my locker. I won't post it here since I didn't realise that the screencapture would be 2.4MBs (facepalm.)

So how do you like your backstory?
The backstory should not be critical to gameplay. Nice to have but don't force it down the player's throat.
The problem is that you will always think that your great epic story that you poured your heart and soul into is "the shit." Just remember that your game is more important than your story. If it's not go write a novel.

Hockey isn't sport. It's a religious ritual to appease the Viking Gods with a sacrifice of blood and teeth (preferably from the other team).
What White/Black/Asian/Hispanic people REALLY like.
post=156257For instance, it turns out that all kinds of people list sushi as one of their favorite foods. But Asians are the only group who also list sashimi; it's a racial outlier. Similarly, as we shall see, black people are 20 times more likely than everyone else to mention soul food, whereas no foods are distinct for white people, unless you count diet coke.What is this bullshit? Food is a regional thing, not a racial thing.
Fun fact you can tell what part of the world someone is from by what they put on their french fries.
