How'd you decide on a game title?

Short, catchy names tend to do the trick. I normally do this, and actually with most projects of mine I start off with a simple development name and make something out of it; but what I'm *secretly* working on at the moment was named at the very same second I conjured up the first ideas of it. I believe it was sometime when I was outside, losing brain cells because of the sun. Yeah, that explains the degree of imagination expressed in my game ideas. I can't say that all of my titles necessarily follow the "short, catchy" idea, but at least what I have right now makes sense with the story and I've just come to like it over the years.

Your Top 5

1. Mother 3
2. Mother 2
3. Paper Mario
4. Final Fantasy VII
5. Ocarina of Time

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Looks interesting enough; not sure if I would invest my money in this, I would rather wait for a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2. And if I'm not mistaken, the fact this is being made by Treyarch means no Captain Price.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Bowser's Inside Story. It's a great game, actually a lot better than I expected it to be.

Where will you be in 10 years? (Discussion)

Hmm, in 10 years? My highest priority is to grow a unique moustache and look like Mario, all smug and cool because I have achieved moustache status. I will probably line it with grease and crap so I can just put stuff in it, like a pencil when I'm trying to think. Hey, don't feel like throwing out that garbage? No problem! Just stick it to your awesome moustache and save it for later!

(I was also thinking of a Captain Price-esque one)

Dreams

post=98172
Anyone ever die in their dream? I remember I was being chased by something in a dream and I had to kill myself with a chainsaw to escape. I woke up and I wasn't really scared. Although most of my dreams are really mixed up and random.

Yeah, I think. This one time I had a dream that my family and I were driving down a pretty steep road where no one was around, at night time (with dim street lights, mind you), and all the sudden we lost control of the truck and went flying like four hundred feet through the air and crashed into a clearing where I found myself still alive but barely breathing and picked myself out of the car to find no one there and I just fell down and died. The best part was it seriously felt like I was dying as I dreamt it, and dreams for me usually don't feel too real.

So yeah, not my favorite dream, if you know what I mean, but I think it relates. And I'm not much of a negative person, honestly.

Capcom has Confirmed "Mega Man 10!"

post=112906
I'm not appalled by his name, I'm sure they could have thought of something better.

I found myself thinking this too many times with Robot Master names.
But aside from the terrible names, I like the addition of Proto Man being playable. I think I really might enjoy this.

Goals for 2010

-To continue to make mad progress on my current project, what it is will remain a secret...oohh...secrets.
-To master my Japanese-Spanish-Italian ramen.
That's all, really. If I can submit my project eventually, whilst consuming this ramen, I'm a happy man.

What midi or Mp3 program should I use?

SONAR 8. Overall, if you ask me, a great program. If you have the proper plug-ins. Well, either way. Solid and flexible with MP3s, and all that good stuff. But it costs the green, although you may have already had that in mind when you posted.

Some new songs!

Now, a few of the songs in the first post really didn't sound like you were taking it seriously. But I liked the last one ("Silly Waltz"), as well as a some of them in your second post. At some points I was able to guess what note would come next, and that's a good thing in music. Considering the kind of equipment you must be using, pretty good. But I wouldn't go boasting about my music's quality before seeing what others think, as I've seen you do in a few other situations.
