Haha, man, maybe around the RM forums you find the crowd that listens to metal and other music, I personally listen to most kinds of punk rock (anarcho/glam/80's/late 79s) and also I do listen to some ska bands, although not as much. So yeah, punk shows are a lot of fun hahaha.
How to fix/lower MP3 sizes
On behalf silver2donuts... I used to work with other programs, but so far I stick to this one, cause although it's a trial, it never expires and let's you edit mp3s... you only have to pay if you want extra features like editing video files... also it's lower on mbs and easier to use than any other programs. You couldn't get less mbs in your mp3s because the set up I made in this tutorial lowers the size while it pretty much keeps the same quality... you can go lower, so I'll say experiment and see what fits you best. Also, this tutorial not only lowers the size, it's up to you to cut the song to how short you want it to be... I left burning spirits to that size, because cutting it lower will just make it feel imcomplete when using it in a boss battle in an RM game... so this is the basic best working set up I use for my games... but possibilities are endless.

Yeah, it will be great if pictures/spoilers were allowed in the main site... I posted a tutorial there, and it requires pictures for others to understand better... it only shows the not-enabled link of where the pictures are located, having users to copy + paste them in a new window in order to see them. Well I'm waiting for RMN3, since many things will be a lot more improved... not that I complain about RMN though. :P

Ephiam: Good idea, although I would have preffered that you use a different chipset for that... it look like a distorted reality.
Here are some pics of Soldier's quest next update: If you played the game before, then you have noted that there is no world map, instead the traveling is like in zelda sort of thing... so here are pics of some of the roads you travel to...
And this is inside a water tunnel/cave:

Action Games in Rpgmaker
Now that you mentioned it... I want you guys to check this link, considering it's probably a kind of action made in rm2k that you guys should check out... this might deffinitely give you more motivation on the idea of the possibility of making an action game.

Funny as it is, no one really cares out there... cause no matter how well known rpgmaker is... still it's not known enough for the entire public out there. You'll be surprised how many people you can ask that are into rpgs, and they don't know rpgmaker nor anything...
