Seems if you level up getting the fire orb then I also got this problem. Here's my save file to this point: https://www.mediafire.com/?9jc14ylzjiytus5
In my save file the screen goes black and when it comes back the game's frozen.
When I killed all the Security Drones once getting the fire orb the scene worked. The Civilian would slowly walk away and disappear then you could move. Also was extremely difficult and almost impossible to get the cat so I found a way to move east then north and east again to get past the guards. (Not sure this is the right way since you could not complete the quest to tell the guy at the entrance to town without purposely getting caught.) Then it was impossible to get back to the area where the next orb was. Sorry I deleted that save.
The 5 Potions together with the Herb Sandwich and Seaside Soup are more than enough for you to be able to get the Fire Orb without spending any money at this time. Perhaps the easiest fix would be to have all the Security Drones not respawn when getting the fire orb same as on the entry floor.
Also your map when you go to exit the town from the map where the school is works fine. But when you want to go back into town the map does not work properly. Going north to enter the town the map will not let you in. You need to go west when you can no longer go north then take one step south to enter the town.

Thanks... replaced the file; even unequiped Bandit's Glove for a battle then equiped it for a few battles before trying Undine again and still get the same results. The Steal command not giving any result and no messages get shown. Do I need to get another Bandit's Glove for the Steal command to work? (Thinking it may be some event which did not get registered on the save file with the old database file.)

If Rad, Nicole and Jane are at level 36 and equiped with the best available weapons and armor Eve goes down in 5 rounds, Rad needs to use 2 potions and Nicole uses one potion. The 4 soldiers will only manage 30 HP damage on 2 of their hits and go down in one hit. It is common for RPG Maker players of commercial games to check to see if a certain opponent that is suppose to be unbeatable can be beaten.

Out of curiousity, did you receive any messages of whether you were stealing or not?
For some reason, it won't even activate for me as well, I'm going to have to figure this one out, so, I'll get back to you on this...
No I never received any messages while stealing at any time.
I believe that you also have a flaw in the game... If you level up Rad, Nicole and Jane to level 36 and equip them with the best possible weapons and armor they will defeat Eve after staying at the inn. If you are going to have Eve as a controllable member of the group afterwards you may want to consider having the trigger of the soldiers coming after the 3 once they take 4 or 5 steps into that town. And for the second battle you may want to consider Eve with at least 2 "elite soldiers" that have the same HP as Eve and can hit all party members with at least 1,000 HP damage. According to your walkthrough Eve is supposedly unbeatable at this stage of the game. The other alternative may be is to have Eve at a much higher level with truly unbeatable stats. Also when she joins the team to have her automatically attack (and disable being able to change any of her equipment) or simply have Eve accompany the team as an observer. Even starting at level 15 the team is strong enough to succeed in the first 2 missions without the need to level up more... (You need to be at level 15 in order to make it to this town without taking damage and at level 20 to be able to work to area north of this town to level up. At level 30 in this northern area you hardly take any damage unless a party member misses a hit.)

author=J-Manauthor=DaCowboyIt's a extra command, not a skill, but you do steal from enemies when you have it equipped. Just scroll down when selecting what to use for Rad.
Have the Bandit's Glove equiped on Rad... At what level does he learn to Steal? Even loaded the save when he's at level 86 and the Steal skill still doesn't appear. Is the Steal skill something that he does automatically when using a certain attack?
Have not been able to steal anything from anyone and Rad is using the Steal command every time its his turn. I did the Boss Battle with Undine about 20 times (since she is suppose to have some good equipment) and had Rad use the Steal command every turn (all other party members would heal or do a simple attack) never was able to steal any item before Undine would be killed in 5 to 7 rounds. (Rad is equiped with the Bandit's Glove.) Is this some bug or are the chances of stealing something from Undine lower than 1:7?
