Mage Duel Extreme
I found this game by chance on the front page yesterday and I'm glad i did. I had fun playing it and my only disappointments would be its not finished and I couldn't try the four other mages yet.
I played through with all four characters beat the game 5 times twice with the elementalist having more diversity the first time and being a water specialist the second time.
I only got a few gameovers though all five playthroughs and they were mostly to Avanna, shes seems badass to bad she's not playable yet. The illusionist rage status effect would have caused auto loses getting hit with it at the begiing of the fight if i wasn't equiped with the green hat that reduces air damage. So maybe reducing the rage status to 3 turns instead of 5 might not be a bad idea.
Random little bug i found accidentally, if you face the merchant spirte and press right you can pass through the wall and go up and down the rope, then you get the usual rope message at the bottom.
I know this is has been unfinished for awhile but it would be great if you were to come back to this game to finish it. I found it enjoyable and I'd even be willing to help playtest if you needed someone.

Hmmm. Weird. I'm not able to duplicate it on my end with the setup you provided.
Don't know why a bug would be there of all places since it's just a simple MP recovery spell. What kind of error are you getting?
Any chance you could PM me a copy of your save file so I could plug it in and check that way? Definitely want to fix any bugs I can.
your right it is weird, i tried it again a couple times before making this post and i don't get the error anymore, yet i got the error 3 times in a row when i left the tent and got into a battle with one of the wolves and made the other post.
I think the error might have been of a graphical nature as the jewel rod was appearing above the casting symbol the times i got the error instead of in baby's hand. in the times i've tried since the jewel rod is appearing in hand as it should and the error has not happened again.
I wasn't sure how to pm the save file so i uploaded it to the locker and pm'd the link

hello, this a fun game but i seem to have found a bug. I get an error every time i try to use light meditation with the baby hero.
my skill set up is as follows
mental strike
light meditation
free mind
healing touch
black magik
make shift bomb
and my equiped weapon is a jewel rod if thats a factor.

Hero's Realm
When you change classes either by reaching a high enough level or by using one the stones does that character keep anything from their previous class like like spells they learned for example? (even if its not in the new classes spell list)

I've been enjoying the game so far, but now I'm totally stuck. I got the right side of the medallion from Ice Cave, and I think, I need the boat from west side to go to the Castle. The boat guy on west side wants something rare, I think he wants the painting. I have no idea how to get the painting, and the guy from Academy wants that painting too. I wish there were a walkthrough for this game, because I sure want to continue playing.

Take to the guy in the Academy that wants the painting and agree to help him...but your not really going to give him the painting ^_^. Now go to the house with the painting anf offer the son of the house(upper left cornner room)5000, he will meet you outside with the painting(exit the house go right a lil then down you should see him) then take the painting to the guy with the boat. Btw once you have that boat there is a old shrine hidden in the forest, you'll get a cool weapon there ^_^
