Please. If that's all you need...
First, our statistics and implications thereof. To date, Heartache 101 is
- the 26th most known of
- rated 24th among
Dating Simulations ever released as per consensus of the Visual Novel Database, and the 11th most popular game on RMN. While sizable(and encouraging), our target audience isn't defined and clearly not limited to any one area, group, or social standing, thus focus groups and testers would likely skew results. We are therefore limited to relying on word of mouth.
According to polls, previous requests, complaints and reviews on various sites and social media(Excluding RMN, since you already read those), the game has been praised by the overwhelming majority for:
-outstanding character development
-fluff
-characterization(of Riho's and the Chocolate Lady's, especially; we should probably deal with that), including but not limited to expressions, speech style and acting in accordance to oneself
-unique approach, apparently better than the usual pattern for Dating Sims
-good mix of the main genre with two others
-pacing
-personalities, motivations, etc. (Excluding the Player)
-support of Disbelief Suspension
On the flipside the audience criticized the lack of or have requested(barring the ones fixed in new releases, the unreasonable or the overly opinionated):
1. Technical and Convenience
-Backlogs.
-Event library.
2. Artistic and related
-Continuity(mostly related to conversations in light of the relation meter)
-Event CGs
-Drawn tachies
-Broader theme selection
-Consistent, not gradually weakening personality of the Player and/or explanations to changes to the aforementioned, leaving less to the imagination
- And the all time winner: Personalized Endings.
The latter complaint deserves extra attention due to it's prevalence. I find Miki's and Tsubasa's epilogue phone conversation is accepted(almost praised, in fact) for being the first endings most people encounter due to ease and thus more fresh, as well as fitting the respective female characters involved. In contrast, all other good endings are referred to as, quote word to word, 'disappointing', 'lackluster', 'half-assed', 'silly', bashed for being cloth cutouts of each other, especially the generic ending(note the lack of plurality, here), and reducing the player to a(n even more) two-dimensional, forgettable plot excuse.
I recommend dealing with the technical requests and the ending complaints first and foremost, the former being easy and the latter being responsible for the bulk of our negative press. An idea pool for new epilogues could prove to be a considerable asset.
That would be it!^^ Overseer off!

Since I'm not going to be able to work on this game until at least the end of the year, I wonder if I could designate one of you to maintain a list of bug reports and feature suggestions made by users of this forum and by visitors to the website? One of the "developers" would be an ideal candidate :)
Aren't bug reports part of my job?
I nominate Marrend.
And I never gave you voting rights, which definitely is 100% part of my job. Hell, we never talked before.

The game itself does have like one or two curse words, I guess. But I'll point out anyway that some people might not like cursing. It sounds better than "dang" though >.>
We're PG-13. Cursing is absolutely allowed as long as it is also tasteful, and may vary from character to character. Saying 'Fuck you' at an appropriately dramatic moment should be okay; filling the textbox with variations of it when it isn't played for laughs is not. Some routes utilize our freedom in that regard. The most pootymouthed characters so far are Seira and Mayu, though Miki, Kyouki and 21 are just as willing to do so - they merely have a more refined vocabulary and the subtlety to deliver insults under the radar.
There's some slight variation in his personality depending on the choices in the game, though. All that's just my own opinion, so don't trust me on that.Three of them to be precise. I wrote a rough essay detailing each. When fully polished, I will share on a Chart Weekend to your benefit:)

It appears that the one I have from Dozen is the one linked above. After that...it gets hazy.I see what you did there.
Hi again, I'm back. Still not my best shape, but I'm able to perform the basics.
Such as welcoming BDFalcon! Hi there. I'm more than impressed and somewhat inspired by your art. Please keep the 'lolz' at bay though, that slaps me underneath.
I'll update the ID list for eligible requests first thing in the morning. Cheerio, Overseer off!

I hope you guys are going fine without me. I don't feel very well. Will read everything properly once I recovered.

It says that the RGSS player has stopped working.
I see! This is a common problem when using programs made in RPGMaker. Happens when Microsoft's loony Data Ex. Prevention wakes up one morning and decides it can't read <insert a common and innoxious tool or language here>. Right click your system icon, click properties, go to advanced settings, click performance, DEP tab, and add Heartache to your list of exceptions. That should solve it.
EDIT: Oh, and drivers/directx/codecs involved could be corrupted also. Or very old, though since you use Win7 I find both possibilities unlikely.

Game crashes as soon as I open the game. What do I do? I'm playing it on Windows 7.
So does everyone else. Any one software can refuse to work or any one system for thousands of reasons. A little more specific? Error messages, installed custom content, log, etcetera?

I don't know what causes the "encounter table" to "roll" a certain character, if that's what you mean. If you're asking about what the text "Keika's ending available" means, it's... pretty self-explanatory?
Marrend, when you're not sure what other people are saying, would you kindly not talk back?
He meant he gets Keika's ending prematurely. It isn't in the code, so probably a corrupted save. Sorry Cronix, unless flowerthief edits the save itself for you, game's a goner.
