Diary of a Madman
Just curious, don't get too big of ideas (I work an awful lot of hours and don't know if I'd have time to spare; I don't know if I'd have time to relearn RPGMaker) but I was wondering if anybody had the VERY last demo of Diary of a Madman. I'm not even sure I released it to public or not, but the one I'm looking for is not 12.87 megabytes. If anybody does, just let me know. It's been a long time since I've been around these parts.

Yeah, I have been playing FE3 recently and the graphics looked pretty similar. I'll probably change the picture in the final "editing" before I release a demo or something, which is still quite a ways off. Thanks for the responses though.

Fire Emblem, huh? Looks good. As far as my screenshot goes, I'll try to find something else, I mainly put it there just to take up space. You guys think it'll be fine without it though? Just getting rid of the side picture completely?

The sword thing is the cursor and the thing on the right is just, I don't know just adds some flair I guess. You can only mix two items together though, the code was long enough as is, I can't imagine what it would look like if I tried three or four item mixes. It sort of works like after mixing so many together, he can sort of "synthesize" the creation during battle which is basically how the character learns his skills.

Here's a screen of the chemistry system. It's not really too flashy, but it's fully functional and that's what matters to me.

Well, thus far one of my characters gains skills through using his skills more often type system. Don't really have a name for it. The other character is a chemist and I'm whipping up a chemistry system, although I wouldn't get too excited about it or anything. Other than that, I usually like to design skill systems as I go, depending on how the game goes and ideas I get.
Hard Parts of Game Making?
Watcha been up to lately?
I really like them. You have to patch the ROMs for Fire Emblem 3 and the first one for GBA though if you want to play them in English. They're like Final Fantasy Tactics, but a lot harder(you lose characters who die for good) and the game plays a lot more like Shining Force or especially Der Langrisser.

Very slowly working on my game. Going through school, got 2 1/2 years left(1 1/2 to get my B.S. and then another year for a masters). I've also been playing through the Fire Emblem games, namely Fire Emblem 3 since it got translated.
