author=LockeZit's in beta, it regularly has 10k+ players. it's obviously playable.
I like the idea of Pokemon Showdown, but in practice, if you're doing anything other than a randomized team you should just give up. It's a neat alpha build of what they're trying to make but the site is not in a playable state yet.

Should we just go by Smogon OU rules? They're pretty fair IMO.
this, there needs to be some restrictions to give people a chance.
