Thank you, it already did! Honestly, writing everything down right from the start and not thinking about certain things later is so much better (has been a stupid habit of mine). Now I understand what went wrong and can learn from it.
TyranoBuilder does hold me back a bit with certain things it cannot do, but we have to see. Getting the project back together is my main goal now.

That sounds really cool, but I'm afraid the timespan is way too short xD. Aside from me wanting to take my time with it, my artist also needs to draw artworks/background and all. So, sadly that won't work.

Hiatus? Awwww. What's the deal?
Sorry, should have changed that quite a while ago, but never got to it since my life has been really hectic and difficult for over the last year. But it got better lately, so that gives me more time to work here. Eternal Dreams is not dead and never will be. However, I simply wasn't satisfied with the the whole concept anymore. Whenever I tried to work, nothing really came of it, which was really frustrating. For that very reason I currently rewrite everything from the ground up, including story and characters.
I know that this might be a bummer for people which are actually interested in how things have been. But what good is that if I cannot go on with the project as it is? However, the cast and all will stay the same, no need to worry there. Their artwork won't change.
Things I have planned for the next days:
- Revamp of this page here.
- New screenshots with the different interface, since I finally made my own.
- Presentation of the new concept.
I apologize for this drastic change, and hopefully you will be satisfied with what I have to show you as well. But seeing that there are still some people interested does make me happy :) .
Cannot wait to see what you guys think of it!
Luxaren Allure
Soooo, after finishing the game quite a while ago, I think it is finally time to post what I think about it. Putting this one in a spoiler, just in case.
Some thoughts:
- The characters are simply wonderful. Each one is well designed and adds his/her own charm to the entire story. This might be the first game which contains no characters that I didn't like in some way.
- Doing your own chipsets was a very good idea, they look marvelous! Got better with each new area.
- Nice artworks you have there. They add a whole lot to the atmosphere.
- Really must thank you for the choice of music. At first I found the soundtrack quite weird, but after some time I really got addicted to Monster Cyborg. They make some very good music, and it also fits the game.
- Darkloft is one of my favorite villains by now. Just so brutal and cruel, I love her <3
- Final battle really deserved it's name. Not only did Darkloft had no intention of dying, she also got stronger over time. Got her in the end, but that really was a long and awesome fight. Same goes for Lynette, even though she was quite easy.
- Will ship Karuna and Aurelie, they are just sooooooo cute together. Same goes for Chisa and Merel <3.
- The humor this game has really got me most of the time. But let's just hope that Karuna and Lynette never need to pretend again that they are in love xD. That was really hilarious.
All in all I can just say that Luxaren Allure is indeed a very beautiful game, and needs much more attention. Would totally have paid for it if it was an commercial game. Keep up the wonderful work!

Just testet the MV a bit, and even though I'm not going to use it, the character maker could be good if someone makes more stuff for it.

No offense, but I find that most of your characters' outfits are impractical and not really attractive to look at. I mean, if you place them among a number of regular people in a public place they'll look out of place.
Let's take this girl for example. Those straps connecting the center of her bra(?) to her skirt(?) are unnecessary; the weight of the skirt(?) would probably pull her bra(?) down at the cleavage area. That tear(?) at her skirt is unnecessary too. The asymmetry in her outfit looks weird. Patchwork is more preferable.
Why would I be offended? It's your personal opinion, and if you don't like it, that's fine with me. Not everyone in the world can like my characters, it's a simple fact ^^. That's why I see no reason to defend her outfit. Just don't come with realism in a fantasy game, seriously. Have seen much crazier outfits in commercial games and no one gave two cents about that. So hers is good the way it is :) .
It's just interesting to see that you took your time to comment here, even though you don't like her outfit or the others. Makes me wonder.
