Hi, I compose video game music, make battle animations, assemble tilesets. Lots of sprite ripping and more for RPG Maker 2003, using my 2 handy tools, FL studio, and Photoshop. I'm always learning new things, and getting better at what I do. I work hard to surpass my limits. I am a perfectionist.

No. You'd have to copy and paste more codes than you need to.
It's not worth doing because you would have to do a conditional branch for EVERY ITEM that you have and for a epic RPG game that has over 1000 items I'd say have fun making a conditional branch for that many items, even making 100 conditonal branches for 100 items is tedious and tiresome.
That's why it's called COMMON items. How many times will you found a potion? There isn't over 100 common items. Quit whining.

This is great stuff, but you know what's even better? Animated tilesets! Just duplicate a tileset for however many frames you're gonna use and change each frame, and then use 'Change Map Tileset' event to make it cycle through the tilesets. Everything will animate at any speed you want, in any order, and as many frames as you want. xP

Proper performance scripting in 2k3

I haven't read much of this yet ('cause I get distracted a lot), but I know I'm gonna love it, and it's gonna make RPG Maker life a lot easier! ^O^

It's an interesting concept. It could be very useful for RM2K3 game developers. I personally use XP though, Unfortunately, the change tileset command was removed for this Maker, and it bugs me from time to time as it could be useful for things just like this. (There are however other ways to get around the change tileset command missing...)
Oh yeah, there has to be some scripts for XP, just like the script for the tileset changer in VX. ^_^ If you find the script, list it here so others can see!
