Favorite dungeon music GO.
yeah Indalecio's music is pretty cool.
These guys have catchy music. for about twenty seconds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HF1dWcPdkY
the final dungeon. the music. oh my god it is awful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PnVekEXJfk
are you referring to this fire guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob-Zz9jIT_g I'm not a fan. also he yells over the music! and also that player is awful but the same thing happens here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYQEVLEXSnY this track is good, but I can't hear it because the cyril goes insane with his spells. and also it's reused in a lot of enix games.
sorry for the derail`

Favorite dungeon music GO.
Basic rule of thumb is thumb is turn off the music in dungeons and battles (final battle excluded) and turn it back on in towns. yes.
Interview with Lidya
What are you thinking about right now?
i want to dropkick all the reprobates saying "yeah no it's perfectly healthy for a fourteen year old to date a twenty year old you should keep seeing this guy" on this other message board

How old were you when you first used RM?
Leo & Leah: A First Look (video)
thanks rpgmaker . net for providing game hosting for the masses
An invitation to bash Legionwood 2.
okay here are the thoughts that went through my head as i played this. i'm not even going to edit it or look at it or call my family on their birthdays
Rean remarks that this abandoned keep looks "fairly promising" when looking at empty corridor"
One of these locked doors can be opened from the side.
spelunking is a very odd way to refer to exploring a castle
actually had other choices besides facing imperials. Like hiding.
Rean doesn't seem to show much personality and serves as a narrator.
RAINING INSIDE TAVERN AND DURING FLASHBACK AAA
All the npcs in every town give off three pages of exposition when talked to. What this leads to is people not reading it.
Yasadorko man or whoever was eating the stew has really weird dialogue. Why would he say "please leave me in peace" and then explain where he was going? Does he do this to everyone who tries to talk to him? Does he have aspergers?
An innkeep would not reveal who booked the last room even when asked, and especially not when not prompted
Why would one person book a room with three beds
Sadeske kills people in cutscene and then they disappear forever. These people he killed were supposedly trying to lure him away from his post, but they actually just find him there doing nothing.
When you throw so much backstory at me so fast about characters I have no attachment to yet because the game just started and places I don't care about because I've never heard of them before what happens is I lose interest entirely. Even after sendeske's crap I have to endure stuff about the necromancer war??? You have to weave the background into the narrative not just spill it out like a nervous teenager! I was pressing z as fast as I could and groaning out load
Rean's name is spelled as rene as one point
Having to enter and exit the town if I want to change shops is a pain. Here is something that happened in the second town: I entered the inn. Didn't have enough money for the room. Left town and came back in. went to item shop. Couldn't see things there for some reason, but saw a fishing rod I wanted, which I also did not have enough money to buy. Left town and returned to equipment shop. Got money. Left town and returned to item shop. Got rod. Left town and went to inn. Afterwards I went to the fishing docks to find a chest containing two fishing rods. Oh wait, it actually was not a waste because a fishing rod breaks after one use for some reason! But anyway Just take me back to the main town menu and add an exit option there. Or. You know. Actually make a town consisting of more than three rooms.
Not letting me be able to buy the axe. I've been cutting down sentient trees in this forest with no apparent problem, so railroading me back to the town because I can't just go around one tree is ridiculous. Especially when the tree is one tile below the actual path? It's a forest. I would imagine that "there might be a tree in a forest" is something that might cross the mind of most people. All this serves is to waste my time.
Sendeske does not need that second line after he cuts down the tree. Of course the axe made short work of it. Rean just saw it. Unless you're characterizing him as someone who continually states the obvious.
A kunai is not a two handed weapon
Holy shit sendeske's double strike technique not only hits twice but also seems to triple the damage of each blow? That's a potentially 6x as much damage as a regular attack for 8mp.
Why does the guy wielding "kunai" assume that the two people dressed like ninjas must be bandits when there is also a guy dressed like a samurai? Everyone involved in the "robbery" is standing a good distance away from eachother and don't seem to be doing anything, so I don't know what would give him this indication.
"with these drawn swords" swords are explicitly not drawn
"losing your cool are we, when someone turns up to foil your plans?" this is awful
robber 1 telling the guy he was robbing that he issued the orders came off awkward. I realized what was meant afterwards but it doesn't sound right.
Why is rean so surprised that sadeske knows the girl. It's not as if he knows the girl. All the girl calling sadeske by his name implies is that sadeske knows people. Why is rean shocked by this.
WHO COULD HAVE GUESSED THE ROBBERS WEARING BLACK HOODS WERE PART OF THE "INFAMOUS BLACK HOOD" GUILD
Why is it named endor mother of god
Stole an item called black hood. Apparently nobody can equip it?
Why can I not sell things at the second town's item shop
This room key garbage is unnecessary, annoying, and only serves to waste my time.
Wait why am I going into any ruins. All I remember was that the samurai and the girl told me to go to the town.
Why on earth does the crossbow let arlia attack twice. Out of all the bow weapons, this is the one that absolutely should not be able to do this.
Why are the phrases "sword of lore" and "earth artifact" translated on this one ancient tablet?
Do I seriously have to go through two dungeons that look exactly the same in a row
It would be nice if I was informed when I gained a new skill
For the love of god if I can't read any of these ancient tablets stop putting them in my way and highlighting them or at least don't make me listen to the jackass samurai say "DHUUR ITS AN ANCIENT DIALECT"
Not necessarily a flaw but this game is really easy. The fact that my characters are so powerful combined with the fact that I recover all hp/mp/status problems when I level up means I can just blast through everything~
How can zombies bleed out
I just realized that currency you gain in battle is referred to as kiphers while the currency you find in chests is referred to as gold coins.
The rapier does not seem to grant the speed it says it does
Sendeske does not talk like a real person.
"sense enchantments in power in this room"
ugugugh sword of lore is a bad name
what exactly leads sendeske to believe that the right half of the earth artifact is guarded by a stronger force than the left
all of these characters barely have any personality by the way. Rean is reckless. Sendeske never stops talking. Holt is…supposed to be wise? Is he? He seems to know things, but he speaks like a first generation immigrant who is also yoda. Arlia….nope. not a thing.
The respawning enemies are really obnoxious in these dungeons consisting of small rooms separated by one tile wide corridors.
Rean's first line during his flashback is fucking horrendous and people do not talk with this "WHY DO MEN FORCE THEIR MALICIOUS INTENT ON OTHERS" tone when they see their homes being ravaged. In fact nobody in this scene talks like a real person and I will wager I will not find one person in this entire game who does. OH REAN, WE HAD TO NOT LET YOU DIE BECAUSE WHEN YOU WERE GIVEN TO US AS A BABY BY A SOLDIER WE PROMISED WE WOULD NEVER LET YOU COME TO ANY HARM AND HOLY CRIPES PROFESSOR PEOPLE DO NOT JUST THROW OUT EXPOSITION LIKE THIS ESPECIALLY WHENAAAAAAAGH
Oh gofr tasdjisad why did the soldiers even bother to search a mile away from the town for three people and also why did they come from the opposite direction of the town and oh asokjfu why is the fucking emperor participating on this raiding mission
"a few names on the town register were missing" are all the villagers wearing nametags.
Rean's parents die in a fade to black and then their bodies are gone uahsrg
After you defeat daedalus, when rean turns to auria to speak, something weird is going on with his sprite.
Uhhh wait. We left the tower without taking the sword.
Oh god another dungeon are you kidding me
At this point I am seriously avoiding all enemy encounters. There are so many of them. There are so goddamned many of them separated by nothing THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM
Okay so I went into the optional castle or whatever and found the dungeon key. The throne is missing an eye. I can't open any of the doors, I don't think. Do I really care. (no) oh and speaking of dungeons. Why are all of these dungeons designed the exact same way: very small rooms separated by very narrow corridors with tons of enemies and absolutely nothing of interest in any of the rooms whatsoever.
In fact do I even care enough to go into the rebel camp and do whatever? No. I do not. The two things you do the most in this game, fighting and reading, are so mind-numbingly unfun I cannot stand to play this game even a second longer. There's not even anything to break them up. It's just exposition, dungeons, going into town full of npcs that spout exposition and also the town doesn't exist and also IT IS STILL RAINING AND NO NO NO NO NO
