I don't really have a problem with numerical ratings on other sites, but 1) this site has a lot of reviews with ratings that seem arbitrary, and 2) there are a lot of games that simply do not have reviews. I feel it's unfair to gamemakers to have the deciding factor in whether or not their games will be downloaded be an x star rating given out by one person because of how he/she felt about it at the time. And, for whatever reason, people don't really like to review games here.

I personally like the way roger ebert scores things, but I know that's not a popular opinion, so I guess the solution I would throw out would be to have two categories of reviews, the ones we have now, and then just smaller but still informative blurbs about the game with a rating attached.

If voters don't vote for the candidates they want to support (and that requires liking and/or agreeing with the candidate), what is the point behind voting at all?

I don't know. You tell me. This is the way America has been voting for decades. For all intents and purposes, there are only two parties, and casting my vote for an independent when there is very clearly a better candidate vs. a worse one in the two main parties is as good as throwing it away!


I don't really know how to explain in a different way that the reason I supported him was because I did not want McCain to win more than I didn't want obama to win.
