So I'm pretty much making a mythology compendium.
Thanks, I would have continued that thread, but I felt that having multiple picture links would have eventually caused problems maybe, so I won't be using pictures this time around. Instead I'm just going to show the links to it.

So I'm pretty much making a mythology compendium.
From the most common of monsters, and deities, and to the most obscure and hidden away (Mapuche Mythology from South America for example is not common knowledge outside of South America unless you know of it).
I'm slowly building up a database of sorts, and for fun effect by adding pictures from the internet, and using the best source information I could find. I'm surprised how many deviant artists are aware of some creatures for representation purposes.
I'm really doing this for fun if anything since my passion of mythology has been reignited all thanks to the Megami Tensei video game series. You know I'm actually surprised no one has made a FAN-rpg of Megami Tensei for RMN yet (heck I have not seen anyone use their monsters yet). There is a lot to play with, and you can make some awesome fan-fiction out of it.
At some point on here, I can share a list of references of everything I've found by myth category, but for right now I'm not even close to finding everything I can. Also another purpose that maybe it will help get you all some ideas for your RMN games.

I live alone, I don't have a roommate or a girlfriend, no one has a key to my condo. All my windows are closed. I do not share AC or heating with my neighbors, I have my own private ventilation.
I don't smoke weed or own weed.
Why did I just get home from a three hour work shift to find that my condo smells like weed? A mystery most dank.
The problem with that stuff is that it always somehow manages to permeate the atmosphere no matter WHERE.

You know what's truly horrifying? One person buying your game and that's it. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that they dropped a whole $25 in my lap "for all the good I do at RMN", and I know simply completing the game is success enough in my own right, but we've got bills to pay and mouths to feed. My hopes of getting noticed and making some real dough now rests at the mercy of big-name youtubers like Game Grumps, PressHeartToContinue, and Pewdiepie (all of which I've sent a message to).
I don't need to get rich, but my family could really use that money, you know. I mean, God, I skipped out on spending time with my extended family at my grandparents house on Thanksgiving so I could keep an eye on who all was purchasing the game so that I could, you know, give them what they want ASAP.
Someone here could attempt a RPG maker personality on youtube..whether he/she becomes viral is another question.
