I charge $17 for one fully rendered character portrait. Price can be negotiable depending on the number of portraits. Here are some designs I made:

Good goddess, your work is beautiful. I especially like your water colors. And yes, I agree with Liberty that a price list, negotiable or otherwise would be nice.
EDIT: Actually, how much would you charge to do a book cover? I used to do art like this, but it's been many years and I don't trust myself to do a good job of it anymore. I have two books I need original covers for.

I think I made that request before you added that this wasn't for free.
I obviously couldn't sell any game based off MTG based on many copy right laws,
the game would have to be free.
Can I see a sample of something for this:
I think I would need to see if you could actually turn
an MTG character into something workable.
It would have to be compatible with RPG Maker VX Ace
engine.
Oh, what I meant was I am to be payed for the art that I will be making for you and not the game you are making yourself.

How good of a job do you think you could do at making sprites
and character portraits for Magic the Gathering characters?
I would be mostly intereted in the Planeswalkers
ie. Gideon, Chandra, Jace, Karn, Nicol Bolas, etc... (There's quite a few.)
I was thinking about making an rpg based off of MTG, but the artwork is definitely the one thing that will get in my way. A game with this theme would need to stay true to the MTG universe.
