Blade of Rage Review
Hiya. Thanks for the review and some of the points you raise. The Demo you reviewed is an early Alpha-ish Demo that is subject to changes, so there's still things that need to be more developed, tested and tweaked. For example, it should not be possible to fight the skeleton-warrior more than once by interacting with the coffin again. I'll look into it though as maybe I made a programming mistake with some event there or somehow missed setting a switch or variable.
As for some of the other issues you mention; As I'm a 1-Man-Team putting in lots of my time, effort and even a fair chunk of money in buying resources, so (and not meaning to sound too blunt) it's my game and I'll make it how I want. Though of course I want people who play my Demo to enjoy it, but if I try to make every change or addition that everyone thought I should do with it, then my game may never get developed or finished.
That being said, I'm still open to feedback, bug-reports and ideas for improvements. I'll do my best to fix any bugs & glitches. And based on some feedback, I may also make changes accordingly if I think I can realistically and practically make such changes, if I think it would really benefit my game and if it meets what I envision for it.
Also, there are some things in the early Demo that are limited, but I was planning to have more part of the game as development continues (for example; The day & night system, later on I was thinking some Quests may only be available to do either during night or day, or certain places may only be accessible during a certain time of day). As development of this game continues, some details of the game, world, story, characters, battle-system, skills, features, etc... are subject to change.
Reading your review it seems you didn't really like much about the early alpha-ish Demo of this game, and that you don't recommend my game. Fair enough.
I've had many people tell me they really enjoyed playing the Demo, and a few say they didn't like it. But like the old saying goes, "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time". Anyways, thanks again for the review. Though I don't agree with everything you say, a couple of points you raise have been helpful feedback. Cheers! :)

I am keen to see the usage of the High Fantasy resource packs in-game, so am downloading the demo.
I hope you enjoy my game's demo. I'd be interested in your thoughts on it. Thanks! :)

@GreatRedSpirit: Trying to submit my video/media seems broken for me as well. Oh well, at least I was able to submit my game-demo.

Manage button still doesn't work for me either.
Still getting "Oops! Something went wrong, there is a good chance we know about it and are working on it!" every time I've tried it.

You can click the "manage" icon on the top right-hand corner of this event page to see weather your submission is there or not.
Actually, that doesn't seem to work, anytime I've ever tried that, yesterday or today, I get a message of: "Oops! Something went wrong, there is a good chance we know about it and are working on it!"

Ok thanks. I went ahead and re-submitted my game-demo links (which seemed to go through ok) in case I missed the deadline before (so apologies if it's been double-submitted, I'm not sure how to check). My video/media submission still gives an error message when trying to submit, but oh well, the more important submissions to me was my game-demo anyways.

Well, as per one of my previous post above, I was confused about the submission process, and misunderstood about there being a separate "submit" button (above the head of the girl pictured in the RSW banner), so, I'm not sure if my submission actually got in on time or not (I think my Game Demo download-links were submitted ok/in time, I'm not sure. But I got some error message when I tried submitting my media/video), so yeah, maybe extend the submissions deadline a bit more, for people like me who perhaps misunderstood about the Submissions links/buttons and process.

Nope, selecting my "team" from the drop-down (which is just me), and selecting the Video (it's on my list, and I can select it), I'm met with the same "You must submit a valid game download" message when I go to submit it.
Changing to Hawaii location trick didn't work either.
Oh well, at least I have my game-demo files submitted, which is the more important ones (at least I hope they were submitted ok and maybe just in the nick of time? :p I guess it's a wait-and-see).

Hmmm, okay, it's all a bit confusing to me. Anyways, I just happened to notice the "Submit" button (above the picture of the girls head in the RSW banner), which I guess is different than the actual game-submit? So, I went ahead and submitted one of my game demo files (hopefully I'm not too late, as I didn't realize I was to use that extra "Submit" button until just now, as where the guide reads "...come back to this page and click on the Manage Submissions/Submit link in the top-right...", I guess I figured that meant the top of the page, and the right-end of the menu (which is where the "Submissions" various other "Submit" links under that).
Anyways, submitting one of my game-demo files via the other Submit button (above the girl's head on the RSW banner) seemed to work okay. But when I go to submit my video/media, it gives me an error message of "You must submit a valid game download", so as far as I can tell, there's no way to submit a video/media to the RWS event that I'm aware of.
Oh well, at least I was lucky enough to submit my game's demo (at least I think I have submitted it correctly? Not sure. I'm probably a dummy, but to me it's a rather confusing series of steps to take here, and yes, I read through the rules and guidelines many-times, but that extra "Submit" button and how to submit a game, demo or media wasn't apparent or clear to me, as I got it confused with the "Submissions" and "Submit Game" links under that on the top menu).

Anyways, aside from that: Congratz to all participants on your submissions, and best wishes to all.
