RPG Maker VX Faceset
I'm looking for two faces for my game. I need one to have a short brown "chinbeard" thing and shaggy brown hair with blue eyes. I also need one with a red mohawk and red beard and moustache with an eyepatch over their left eye. I'd like these to be as close to RTP style as possible. Full credit will be given. If my discription was good enough, the sprites I need the faces for are in my locker under the clever name "request faces." Thanks.

Just don't expect us to shorten it to "lord".

Hello
Hi. I'm Lord_Kries. You can call me LK, Kries, or anything really. I like music, writing, basketball, and tabletop RPGs. I came upon this site a while back, searching for good games to download. I decided to join only recently though. I'm a fairly skilled writer and I'm not bad at mapping with VX, my current engine of choice. I used to use 2003, but it was on my old computer, which I lost to a virus.
I've also got a game up. It's called "The Sins of Man," and I would love some feedback/ advice on how it looks.

What I would do, and kentona mentioned this before, is to use something very similar to KOTOR 1 and 2. Build the challenges in your gameworld around a set of skills. For example, if doing a classic rpg, you could have something like diplomacy or forging as skills, and if making a more modern game, lockpicking and hacking could be skills. The skills could be dependent on attributes. (intelligence, strength, etc...) Now, the only problem I see with this is that attributes are usually increased through leveling up, which in most games is achieved by combat.
So, if I was doing something like this, I would just do away with the traditional leveling system and have attributes, and consequentialy skills, increase based on which skills are used and how often. This would take a pretty massive amount of scripting though....
Now, the only problem I can see with this is that players expect some kind of massive "final" boss fight. You could get around this by instead having the player make some kind of massive choice or confront some kind of final obstacle that would test every one of their skills.
It's just an idea, but it seems like a pretty good one to me.

what did the event say?
"I think we should go to Golden Ram Pub"
or
"We should check on Robert first?"
I've checked and tested the events again and found no bugs there (make sure u got the FINAL version because it's the bug from version 1.0 and I've fixed it).
Those events are set to "below characters", so u can pass on - as those are only reminders.
Or, another way: u can press F9 and set the switches: "robert is gone" to off and after going out from the inn set the switch "robert is found" to on.
It says "I think we should go to Golden Ram Pub first."
EDIT: Nevermind. I feel like an idiot for not realizing that you could simply ignore the warning and walk right out the door. My bad.

I really like the game, but one major problem. After rescuing Robert and giving Hulfred the kobalt ore, I'm supposed to leave the Inn and find Robert, but the game stops me from exiting the Inn! I can't fix this with rpg maker because the game is encrypted. Is there any way around this or am I stuck in the Inn forever?
