My comment is more about the appeal of the outfits rather than realism. To me they just aren't attractive somehow.
Wonder what? Don't really understand what you're implying here. I'm just giving my opinion on the outfits and how to improve them for the sake of immersion. You don't have to take my criticism, feel free to ignore it.

No offense, but I find that most of your characters' outfits are impractical and not really attractive to look at. I mean, if you place them among a number of regular people in a public place they'll look out of place.
Let's take this girl for example. Those straps connecting the center of her bra(?) to her skirt(?) are unnecessary; the weight of the skirt(?) would probably pull her bra(?) down at the cleavage area. That tear(?) at her skirt is unnecessary too. The asymmetry in her outfit looks weird. Patchwork is more preferable.
