Garry Collection

I'm not certain if I reached the end,
(I've gotten to the moment in the old woman's house where Garry starts choking and "falls asleep".)

There are some real moments of atmosphere in here, but there are some easy things to be done to make this better:

Audio is imbalanced? Example: when you knock on a door and then knock on another, one of them is quieter / louder than the other even though they're the same distance from Garry. To keep it consistent, it should be at the same volume.

When Garry says a door is locked, the sfx for knocking plays instead of an sfx for attempting to budge a closed door.

Maps have a lot of empty space, which should be avoided in most cases. Here's some good advice on making maps.

Finally, you could change the default RPGMaker sound effects. Make sure to credit people where due.Freesound.org is somewhere to start.

After playing the demo, I would recommend you guys to change the font. Some words I had to guess by the context, some I still didn't get. It is really hard to read and since the game is dialogue heavy, it will do you no good. You want people to want to read.

Such font is good for headings though, where you don't have a lot of text and guessing what the word suppose to be isn't much of a workout.

Thank you so much, Hogwash! That means a lot, considering how incredible your art is.
But I'm afraid not all of it is ours ; for the village chipsets we edited the houses, trees, and interiors from First Seed Material before adding in our own custom tiles:

The rest of the game is completely custom!
We may revamp the graphics at some point in the future depending on how this project goes, but for now the main priority is creating the game itself.
