post=1263871. But this doesn't change the fact that many businesses will say "fuck it, not paying," and basically give us a plan that decides which doctors we can and can't see. This could also cut profits off for many doctors, since some will be having their clients chosen for them, some will just be cut right the fuck off. Besides, what sounds better: Paying at a discount or not paying at all?
1 doesn't mean it's going to be good. Government programs aren't the best, but they are available to everybody, which is what's very important here. The more important reason though is that the government gets to play the competitor, and force health insurance industries to be competitive with each other.
2 is another bullshit argument that borderlines punditry, but I've been hearing republicans spew this talking point and nobody is rebutting it. First off, a handful of people game the system, so we have to fuck everybody else? That's very cut-off-the-nose to spite the face.
Secondly, not everyone thinks "Free shit?! Gimme!" Believe it or not, people generally don't like being unemployed, especially if you have a family and are trying to support them. There's no quality of life living on food stamps and being barely able to provide for your kids.
2. But the plan they're trying for doesn't do anything to cut people from sitting on their asses, swelling up all the welfare. The problem is that we need to find a way to figure out how to cut that out. I'm all for down-on-their-luck people getting a break, but unless we find a way to figure that out, then neither plan is doing what's right. Also, I don't know where you're living, but I live in an area where one in four people is unemployed and on welfare, so I guess that's more likely to sway me.

The fact that businesses can only have power on at certain times of the day, I mean, what does that do to your business? Also, he didn't invest in repairing the water system of Venezuela, basically letting it deteriorate. Venezuela runs on hydropower. Make the connection.
That man is a freaking hero, and will go down as such in history. Not an idiot. No sir, not an idiot. Not by a long shot.
I guess I threw the word idiot around like I shouldn't, but I still stand by the fact that he's not exactly fit to lead.
Also, the reasons why many people oppose the health care plan are as follows:
1. The plan offers government funded health care, which would be free, of course. Businesses will see this and revoke the current health care plan in favor of one that doesn't cost anything, because businesses are all about making as big a profit as possible. (Not saying that's a bad thing.)
2. What about these jackasses living on welfare, ten kids, not working? Free health care, so that doesn't increase incentive to, you know, work.

My whole family HATES Obama, myself included, (not hate, but dislike) mainly due to the people he's been associating himself with. I don't remember too many names, but the guy who wants to sterilize everyone, the guy who wants animals to have lawyers, Hilary Clinton, they really make me question what he's thinking. But hey, I don't consider myself politically in-the-know, so I guess that says where I stand.
As for Hillary, well, I think she makes a good Secretary of State. It's a good role for her.
Also, the reason why people throw around the words communism and socialism like they throw around the words "dead babies" is because they don't exactly equal long-lasting, successful governments, though I'm not saying it can't be done. Venezuela is a prime example of what a system like that can do to a country, although that's probably less because they're socialist and more because their leader is a friggin' idiot.
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I've been playing SvR2010. Better than 09, but it still doesn't top Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. I'm also about to try one of the Touhou games, so if you hear screams, just understand.
