Actually there's a very simple reason you come off as an ass. You created fairly bad topics. They follow the format of "Controversial subject + no content + discuss". It's essentially a kind of baiting. Or at least that's what it seems like. It seems like you want to create discussions about controversial subjects but most people here are sort of sick about that kind of debate on the internet.
Occasionally it's fun to argue on the internet but here most people feel strongly about games or something like that. (might I suggest RMN's IRC channel for real-time weird discussions) Back when we were young and new to the internet we might have cared about what other people thought but by now we're just sick of it.
Add to this then the fact that you immediately take offense and seemingly lack a sense of humour (alternatively you're just new to the internet and don't get the jargong. A couple of weeks of lurking on a forum can give you an impression of what kind of atmosphere there is. This forum has a slightly different atmosphere (where casual name-calling is a sign of affection) than what you might have expected.
Yeah. That's about it. Basically it's a good idea for a newish member to reply to topics for a while to get a feel for a place rather than create a lot of bad topics at once. That way you can build a decent reputation so you can make bad topics everyone will like later.
That's just how it works.
I would not consider someone an ass for making a bad topic. I don't see asking a question for someone's personal experience as a bad topic.
Only one topic of mines is controversial so I am not sure what you read in my other topics on this site.
I do understand humor, but I'm just not into this type of humor on this site.

if people are already being rude to you why are you inviting them to be even more rude? that's just the opposite of what i'd want.
anyway from what ive heard from you, in your 'serious' topics we give you advice but it just seems like you dont even listen. its very frustrating.
and if you're angry at people being disrespectful, just leave, disrespectful people shouldn't be worth your time should they? no need to kick up a fuss.
Not trying to change the subject, but trying to explain myself.
I did not ignore anyone. I just told everyone in the girlfriend topic that I have been doing the things they told me for years. I just don't think most people on this forum has experienced what I have with the opposite sex. I doubt that most members on this forum were told they are physically the ugliest piece of shit by all types of women in school and out of school. Women do tell me they like my humor, wit, intelligence, and personality. It's just that none of them are physically attracted by me so they reject me because of that reason. It recently happen again. I was interested in this cute girl, but she told me she wanted nothing to do with me. I simply wanted to get to know her at first.

I have seen people do things such as trying to hack sites, joining a site just to spam it, only join to flame people, etc. I never did any of those types of things, but get treated worse than people like that!
I am currently at Unlimited and I never had such a problem with the members.

Comments are not the same as reviews.
I am from HBgames and many other RPG Maker sites. I just don't act like a total jackass calling people names to be cool like on some forums.

I have done nothing wrong on this site Feld. There is nothing wrong about me as a person. I've just been treated poorly on this site like I have been on a few others.

Retiring
I am thinking about retiring from the RPG Maker community. It's been a tough journey. I became known not because of games, but because of who I am as a person. However I have worked on the projects Legend of Dark Chaos, Dark Chaos, and Megaman VX. Hopefully I will finish MegaMan VX someday because it is my dream game because I love MegaMan. I had fun meeting people all over the RPG Maker Community. Some became friends and some became enemies.
I entered the community in late 2008. The first ever forum I joined was RPG RPG Revolution. I was not welcomed there. I was banned for removing my work off of the site. I later join RPG Maker VX Community. However they did not welcome me either. Their admin Pine said racist comments such as all blacks should be salves, and he disliked me. So he decided to ban me because he dislikes me.
A few weeks later I tried to help some friend with their site RPG Web. However things did not workout. The site died within a month's time.
My final adventure is at RPG XP Unlimited. I meet some great people here. This is the first and only site that accepted me. I worked hard for this forum by making resources for it. However I feel as if my work as been in vain. This site has lose a lot of activity for the past month. Why post when no one will talk? It has gotten a bit boring for me now with no one to talk to and very little discussion.

I made a simple topic asking people for their own personal experience with plastic surgery, and it got locked because I was blamed by a mod for the topic turning into a discussion about women. I never once asked about women in the topic. I just asked for information about surgery. The members just turned it into their own little fun party.
Most of the comments for many games are very bad. They are not criticism. They are jokes and some of them are attacks to the game's creator. This provides no feedback to the creator.
I was personally told by another mod to never make certain topics again such as women and plastic surgery.
It is cool to have fun, but this is site has a group of members who are rude.
