the word you're looking for is panorama mapping or map, or non-tileset mapping, as opposed to tileset-based mapping.

This website, if I'm not mistaken is called rpgmaker.net, and as such I refer to it as an RPG Maker website. There is nothing wrong about that. Even if there was something wrong I also commented that it i a game making site in general.

You claim that I'm being prejudice, but you seem to lack the understanding of what the word prejudice means:
1. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
2. any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable.
3. unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, especially of a hostile nature, regarding a racial, religious, or national group.
I did not give an unfavorable opinion beforehand. I said "Snobby British Wang".
This is not without knowledge because your profile says that you are from the UK hence why I said british. Secondly you're name is geoDUDE so I can almost plaily guess that you have a Y chromosone in your body. And, I say snobby because due to your previous posts you don't seem to accept any other answer except your own.
Also, I did not act in a hostile nature, nor did I technically say anything offensive.

Despite being on an RPG Maker website (or game maker site in general), I'm guessing that You've never played an RPG Maker game because if you did you'd know exactly what I meant when I said Parallax (the backround image of a map, more specifically called a Parallax Background).
Secondly, you have no idea how to map by solely using these Parallax Backgrounds and transparent tiles so that you can "walk" on these backrounds thus eliminating the overall purpose of mapping with Tile-sets.
