This website, if I'm not mistaken is called rpgmaker.net, and as such I refer to it as an RPG Maker website. There is nothing wrong about that. Even if there was something wrong I also commented that it i a game making site in general.

1. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
2. any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable.
3. unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, especially of a hostile nature, regarding a racial, religious, or national group.
I did not give an unfavorable opinion beforehand. I said "Snobby British Wang".
This is not without knowledge because your profile says that you are from the UK hence why I said british. Secondly you're name is geoDUDE so I can almost plaily guess that you have a Y chromosone in your body. And, I say snobby because due to your previous posts you don't seem to accept any other answer except your own.
Also, I did not act in a hostile nature, nor did I technically say anything offensive.

Secondly, you have no idea how to map by solely using these Parallax Backgrounds and transparent tiles so that you can "walk" on these backrounds thus eliminating the overall purpose of mapping with Tile-sets.

Side Quests: Why?
Sometimes I throw in side-quest to throw in some back story to a Character / Item / Dungeon / Boss, but I think most of the time side-quests are just to make the game seem longer than it is or should be.
Your First Game
My first game ever was called "Skull Dragon" on the RPG Maker for the PS1. It was basically about a hero travelling with his best friends to the Death World (Thats what I called it) to defeat the ultimate evil in the universe the Skull Dragon himself. Surprisingly the game wasn't bad, but it was missing one thing....er, many things. First of all I had horrible dialogue, horrible mapping, and the characters were unimaginably powerful compared to everything else, and it was about 1 hour long, but when I made the game I was 7 or 8 years old, so you'd expect it to be bad. Although my brother, who was 14 at the time and making great games, said mine was really good considering my age.
What are you currently reading?
I'm currently in love with the Percy Jackson & The Olympians Series, but thats just 'cause I'm a mythology fan.
