Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
@Rebezion: New logo is looking very nice! I am sort of missing the tree in the previous one though, as it made the background feel a lot more fleshed out and grounded in lore. Would be cool to see some of the clouds pass by some of the mountain tops as well. Of course, I'm not sure how far along you are. Looking very nice regardless.

@slashphoenix: Thanks :) It is being written from scratch. The Dialog Editor part is close to being finished just need to implement a conditional node type properly. The other aspect is the "Cutscene" Editor which is a bit more involved. Currently you can add a dialog file to the cutscene editor and it will show you all the available branches in that dialog tree. This will allow you to select one of the branches and add keys on the timeline for moving the characters around, changing their mood etc etc. And then you can change the branch, leaving ones that overlap and have been keyed. This enabled your to scrub through any possible branch until you've covered all of them.
It would be really cool to make it public at some point. I'm just afraid of the support I would have to provide. Even if it's just questions etc etc. I tend to want to answer everyone about anything. We'll see though.

Working on Dialog editor and a Cutscene editor to easily set up branching cutscenes based on dialog input and various checks. Coming together alright.

Sailerius: That is a lovely and very interesting style. Looking forward to trying the outcome.
I've continued work on my "tileset" editor which enables me to define tiles, and paint with them inside of unity3d. Its working fairly well. Although a bit difficult to tell what is going on, I'm sure.

It's (not) a Joke
Those are looking very nice indeed. Must say I'm rather looking forward to sitting down with your latest project. Looks like there's been a serious amount of love and attention pushed into it. Nice going!
Greetings everyone!
Much appreciated TungerManU :) Don't know about awesome potato skills, but I don't just bake them, I sprinkle some paprika on them as well, makes all the difference, I say!
I did go through some of my past stuff before I got bit by the programming bug. (prompting me to fight all those little buggers) Visual stuff is always more fun to look at rather than listening to code-monkey-business. So here we are:

PS: sorry about spamming the email address, it was used for a portfolio.

A lovely heart indeed :)
So figured I'd start posting early. Being what I'm working on and all that. An experimental combat system in Unity3d. I'm fairly fond of Xcom, but would love to mix it up with some of the stats found in more traditional RPGs. Possibly ending up with something that is semi turn-based.
current WIP. doesn't really show much.

Greetings everyone!
After some time of idle activity browsing these forums I figured it was about time to make an account and perhaps take part in the festivities that is the rpgmaker network forums. As this is an introduction thread, I suppose I should say something about myself.
I'm a game developer by day and night and has always had a bit of a hunger for RPGs. Being a bit of a potato I've been able to pick up a lot of different skills over the years which I am hoping to put towards some Roleplaying game activity for the next couple of years++. In the run-up there has been some time spent playing Roleplaying games from my past, but also some of the excellent creations found via the RPGMaker communities.
Hope to see everyone and get to know you guys as we traverse future threads looking for nuggets of joy.
