An RM fighting game...

It would pretty much be a typical RPG focused around 1 on 1 battles and themed like a fighting game.

@FeldschlachtIV
I second Nightblade's suggestion. I also feel that the conversation pacing is weird in some parts, but I can't point my finger where exactly. Maybe there are too many long sentences that take up two msg box to finish.

@AznChipmunk
The CMS looks nice! Very simple and clean.

Working on dotPlus again. Got music from Brandon long time ago and finally got time to do something with it. So I made a trailer/PV :D

The game still need lots of playtesting though....I need more time @_@

Awesome! I love Brandon's music!

An RM fighting game...

...I suppose you're right.

An RM fighting game...

It'd be like...an FF1 styled battle system where you could choose one of a number of characters and face off against another, controlled by a computer.

An RM fighting game...

No, I'm not looking for an action fighting game, but a turn based RPG style fighting game.

An RM fighting game...

So I was playing Dissidia recently and I got a crazy idea.

What if there were a fighting game...only the fights took place in the form of an RM battle (engine unclear...probably VX with a turn based system and a side view)? There would be 20 or so characters, and possibly a story to progress through. Maybe a Dissidia board game like style. There would also be an arcade mode pitting you against 5 enemies in a row. Your characters would level up and get stronger the more you played. It could also feature alternate costumes.

Anyways, just a bunch of ideas. To the point.

Assuming this idea doesn't get shot down immediately, does anybody want to team up with me to make this? I could make music, maybe (just maybe) write a story, or anything needed of me. Anybody who can do anything is welcome to do something. Again, this is all very vague, but perhaps we could refine ideas once we have a team put together.

What do you guys think?

150 tracks? Yeesh, that'd take a while.

Unless they suck of course..

The importance of Music in a game

post=102003
Because it's composed very competently and very subtly - it's contributes to the feel of the game without drawing attention to itself.

That's very true. Nubuo's music was very memorable and attention grabbing, wheras FF12's music (the composer's name escapes me, but I'm gonna look up more by him) seems to be more atmosphere focused. Just my 2 cents.
