Fujiko, that face, and pose, seems to suggest to that you're quite the sneaky trickster. Is that part of your "act" too?
Not that many, surprisingly. She's more level-headed while Megumi is very irrational and is more likely to get into a fight.
Fujiko is more or less like that, but is more of a teaser in her "act".

Anyway, I don't have a "Matsuhara Akane" on my listing (nor is there one on the official listing), so, er, I'm not quite sure where Ohtaki Makoto is going? Unless it's a straight-up rename, or something? Yeah, that's probably what's going on. Derp.
Yep! ID 38 will be "Matsuhara, Akane" instead of "Ohtaki, Makoto". I mostly replaced Makoto because the only ideas I had surrounding her personality was to make her an energetic and loud genki girl-like character. Plus she kind of looked like a loli-girl, and now, for some random reason, I heavily dislike loli-girl-like characters. Yes, I'm looking at you Hinami!
AHEM, anyways... I should probably introduce my characters. I'm putting them under a hide-tag to help conserve space on the page.

Kawano, Fujiko! Class 1-B's (probably) most introverted student. She seems to be the closest student (that's not related) to Megumi. However, when around Megumi she's comfortable and acts the opposite of her usual composure that she has in class. This act seems to follow with the player (and Akane) for some reason. Anywho~ this act isn't a spoiler, as you'll figure this out eaaarly in the story.

Matsuhara, Akane! One of the most extroverted student in the school who seems to not have a filter at all. This filter seems to be genetic, because whaddya know?! She's Megumi's cousin! And she doesn't get along with Fujiko which automatically makes Megumi take a turn for Switzerland when they get into a fight. However, her fighting with Fujiko doesn't define her as a character. She seems to have gain lots of friends for the short time-span she's been at Hayauchi. Oh, should I mention she's in the Judo club?
* Edit: I also plan on putting her in Class 2-A
That's it for those two's basic summary so far. I have a few events written so far (and all of their profiles finished), but I'm planning on making time this weekend to get their story done. Making Heartache 101 custom content is definitely a breather from the game I'm making already. Introductions SUCK! I'm also scraping the "Main-file branches into multiple files!" idea. It's totally not because I want to make land mines for the player to trip on if he crosses on one too many routes. Heh.
Oh, I should probably add that there will probably be mentions of some custom content characters on here. Gotta' integrate the system, amirite? ANYWAYS... I hope that's not a problem with anyone here. It'll probably be a name mention at most.

Hello guys! Sorry for my delay in posts, but I'm afraid the pace in my work will be a bit slower since I have bought Vx Ace and I am now proceeding in making a horror/adventure-like game. I'm going to still make time for these characters and I'm aiming to complete them before completing the game. I should also note that I'm replacing Makoto Ohtaki with Akane Matsuhara. I'll post Akane's and Fujiko's neutral tachie in a bit. I'll make sure to edit this post or make a new one.
Opinions regarding BDFalcon's characters:
Hanata Haruka: Ah, another genki girl. This isn't bad, as usually genki girls scenes almost always are amusing/enthralling. I'm curious as to how the newspaper club story will play out.
Shiromiya Kagami: She seems like the average Joe you'd find on the street. Besides that, I also feel that she's also that stereotypical girl "You just can't hate!" (You know, the girls that they show in chick flicks? K, I'm done now.)
Torahashi Mio: I agree with Dozen on the hair. The bangs are creepy. Personally though, I don't think that her hair color is though. It's the way the hair color contrasts with the eye color. If you tone down the eye color the hair should look fine. I like her personality. However, this could just be my personal bias with "tough chick" characters.
Hisatsuki Seiryu: This character interests me the most. It's make you ask the questions... "Why does she hide behind her bangs?", "Why does she act so reclusive?", etc. I could see you easily building tension between her and player in her route.
Yurihara Sakura: Seems like the female version of the player, besides the snarky trait. I have no other comments besides that.
Suzuki Yomi: Reminds me of Ertad's Midori. I thought his/her character was also a nature loving person? But I could be wrong. I'm sure what else to say after that. Her appearance looks nice though.
Tenshimi no Kokoro: OMMMMMMMGGGG YOKAAAIS. *regains conciousness* I like her look. I like the fact that she's a yokai.
What kind of yokai is she? :3 (There's a chance that these questions may never end.)

She's probably my favorite Heartache 101 character. (See under first hide tag regarding my bias to athletic characters.) I'm going to try reviewing the game once I get a good idea how reviews are done 'round here, and once I finish the game.

I thought this game looked interesting at first, but then I saw the Bass Novel sprites which made me frown. The Bass Novel art is restricted to the site which means that any distributions of the sprites, backgrounds, etc that are on the site can only be distributed within the site. I guess it's about time for me to come out of my cave and join the discussions again. >.>
Anyways, I have some pretty big news in regards to the custom content I'm making. To start off, I've added Fujiko to this pack, so it's not just Megumi anymore. Secondly, I'm making my custom content a differently with these two. See under the hide tag more about that.
I'm not sure when I'll release the beta for these two, but it'll most likely be released when I have about 25% of the content done as a whole for it. These routes will also have more structure to them, and not have a lot of random, unneeded events on the basic route. As for Fujiko, I'll need to release her new tachie soon. She looks nothing like the original now, thankfully. ^^
Marrend, my two cents-- I'm thinking that you're doubting your writing abilities in many different aspects. I could probably be missing something though, 'cause I only read a few posts on this page. (I'm very tired right now, I can't focus reading a lot of these posts, and I'm not quite sure why I'm up so frackin' late) My point is, is that based on your past characters and games, (I played two of them due to Emiko's self-advertising :P) Emiko's route will definitely be interesting yet entertaining like all of your past works have. I'm not sugar coating at all either.
Anyways, hopefully that wasn't out of context. I probably should read the rest of the posts when I don't feel like Sleeping Personality/Beauty/Shrek. On an off-topic note, Kotonoha looks 10x cooler than Yuki from Kanokon did. Amirite? //proceeds to sleep

In order to get into one specific route, you'll need to make decisions. These decisions will determine which route you'll be put into. How I'm doing this is kinda similar to how a VN dating sim is with ren'py.
Another distinct feature in my custom content is that only one route will play at a time. I really don't the player dating Megumi and Fujiko in their routes at the same time. And to prevent that with phone call dates in-game, the other character that the players route isn't on, will have their affection level locked at neutral with encounters off. To only have one route playing at a time, I'll be using conditions for that.

That said. The player would never be that big of an ass. And it doesn't take a Soul score of 30 to have the mere sympathy, let alone empathy, to let people you want to like you tell you a story without criticising it before you've heard it, after you agreed to hear the story. That'd be a Soul check of around 5, and no one lets it fall so low.

I was actually thinking something very similar to that. And I know just how to fix it! Megumi's final Soul Check is something personal to her, and I think the whole "silence" fear would be a bit more personal to her too. So to fix this, I'm going to have Megumi be somewhat conflicted to tell the player or not. He can either assure her it'll be fine or it just won't be enough "assurance". I'm going to remove the land mine on this scene also.
For the machine part, thanks to my naivety, I seriously thought the machines were just to buy used underwear. Not for people that have weird hmm, how should I put this? Weird fetishes with underwear. That'll work. I'm still having a total "wtf" moment since I figured out these
machines were for people to smell fracking underwear in the daytime. *heavy sigh*
For the thoughts, I edited most of the scenes to put more thoughts to make it seem more like Flowerthief's player. I'll probably edit it a bit more...

I read your post again and realized that I misunderstood it HEAVILY. That was childlish of me, and I can assure you that no such thing will happen again.
However, for the people who have tested Megumi, I DO have some questions for you...
1) Was the introduction event rocky? I feel like it could be more natural. 2) Does the player sound like Flowerthief's player? I'm trying to a for that. 3) What is your opinion of the Soul Check?
4) Where do you think the story is heading? (I'm just curious about this.)
5) Is there any other opinions that you'd like to share? Possibly things I could tweak or add.
